what a cute little movie. the comedy felt so natural, kept me smiling and laughing through and through. lovely cast, so many young faces that are still doing well in the industry till this day. a real classic!
there was this moment hours ago i saw WeTV updated Ep10 but i was so tired so i went to sleep first. i just checked again and Ep10 is now gone lol i swear i saw it with my own eyes. what happened. was i too tired that i started hallucinating or something.
I don't mind dark and heavy themes so i didn't really look at the tags before i started this movie but damn, that's a whole lot of fucked up tags right there lol
Personally i find this movie very intriguing and powerful in its own way. It's bold enough to bring out the darkness and taboos, with very few speaking dialogues. The quiet and the music really deepened the darkness. Many questions were purposely left unanswered so you have to guess it. Some sex scenes were shown but definitely not in a erotic way, more like disturbing.
Anyway, may this movie find its way to the people who truly appreciate it.
it's good, man, i loved it. definitely dark, not too deep but i did think about it for a while. The cinematography,…
Anyone here notices Nana only wears 2 colors? it's Blue and White, even her phone case is blue lol. It's universal knowledge that blue is the color of sadness but I've heard many times that in Japan they see blue as the color of happiness. And white is the color of mourning (hence the white roses). The way I interpret it, she has always been lonely, mourning and trying to find her own happiness her entire life. That ending scene when she wore the wedding dress, the color white seemed to take a totally different meaning, she found her happiness.
Ok enough about colors lol. Same with some users below, I too was taken aback thinking about Nana being ok to be with the one that abused and raped her. At first I thought it just didn't make any sense, she killed not one but (almost) two people because they were abusive, and now it's ok? But then I think again. Nana's fully aware that the man she's chosen is Sou - the one that abused her to the point she almost killed him and stored him in a freezer, and she still wants to marry him? And Sou, he's fully aware that Nana was the woman that tried to kill him, freeze him, he knew that she's willing to chop him up, cook him and feed it to him and yet he still fall in love with her??? He killed his twin brother? Well duh, she killed her step-father! LMAO What kind of fucked up shit is this?? they're perfect for each other.
Initially i gave this drama 8.5 but i think after i wrote this comment i realized i kinda love how genius this show is lol i probably shoud give it a 9 instead.

alright if anyone's planning to watch this drama just know that it shouldn't be taken too seriously lol i mean, right in the middle of the climax, the villain decided to kill a cockcroach out of nowehere with a gun??! what was that for lmao that was so random.
They've done it. Flawless casting, superb performances, amazing chemistry, well written plot and a perfect combination…
ahhh i loooove the way they let us know that Hidaka is gay/bi and enjoy doing feminine things, it's so subtle and casual. The way he was so whipped for Riku, god, probably the cutest thing in this drama. And the KISS??!! asddfghjkaSDFGHJK sorry i screamed lol The ship was so real yet still not real enough. but thank you, writer-sama, thank you so much for giving us the Hidaka Haruto, thank you!!!
They've done it. Flawless casting, superb performances, amazing chemistry, well written plot and a perfect combination of a bunch of different genres. They have successfully put all that in ONE drama.
And I think it's safe to say that Hidaka Haruto is now the best written character i've seen in 2021 dramas. it's pretty hard to top that.
Also i'm not sure how to feel about the news of the Korean adaptation lol. good luck with finding someone that can deliver the performances that Ayase Haruka and Takahashi Issei did, i guess.
i really enjoy watching Death Prince, he did a really good job playing the role. the ending theme song is very catchy. and the rest is, honestly, it's quite a mess. i'm at Ep9, they still have 1 episode to tie it all down so let's see how it's gonna go.
love the cinematography, it has that classic Japanese horror vibe from the 90s. thank goodness i can understand…
when he said they imprisoned the women with the dogs and spread rumours that they're mating with dogs, did they really mating with dogs or was it just rumours? who was the father of Maya's baby? One of the dogs or one of the men from the electricity company (particularly Kenji)?
After awhile of thinking, i think Kenji being the father makes more sense since he's been following Kanae's family for the longest time, like an ancestor watching over his family, and they eventually placed him in the family's graveyard along with Maya.
But if Kenji was the father, then why were many members of the family half human half dog? And then I came to conclusion that the Inuaki villagers were all weredog (? not sure if that's the right word) they didn't feed on dogs and were not dog killers. The dog killers were the men from the electricity company because they killed the whole village.
I mean when i think of it this way, the movie makes more sense so idk.
love the cinematography, it has that classic Japanese horror vibe from the 90s. thank goodness i can understand most of the movie after my 1st watch (though i had to think about it for awhile to actually get it). but i still have a few questions i'll put in spoiler below:
i'm really glad that Hayame made her decision and walked away 10 years ago. it's true that Seigo could have been a better choice at the time and her life had never stopped going downhill for 10 years after that (and eventually hit rock bottom lol) but that decision made her the Hayame today, strong, wise and independent. I love her so much *cough* i believe in Nikaido Fumi's supremacy!!! *cough*
also Etsuko and Yoshitaka are the cutest haha i love that they don't particularly favor/support any of the Kataoka brothers but they wholeheartedly support Hayame in whatever decision she makes, no matter if she chooses any of the 2 or not. They're always like "Go girl grab your happiness you deserve it!" and I agree with them lol

Maybe you should predict 'when will the pandemic be over' next.
