Finished my 3rd time and I feel I have a better understanding of Yingyuan and Tangzhoua this time. I’m satisfied with the ending of episode 59. Seeing how they were able to revive the death, I believe they will eventually show up somewhere in the world and will eventually meet and fall in love no matter where they are. Still cry every time though. I already love Cheng Yi so much and whenever I’m in the mood for a heartbreaking kind of love, I go for Immortal Samsara and Love and Redemption.

I miss Cheng Yi so much playing the romantic gut-wrenching kind. I know he wants to stick with wuxia but please do some xianxia for us too.

Cheng Yi has the best bromance.

Re-watching it and I still get goosebumps when Fugui entered the city on episode one.

I made peace with the ending of episode 28. I watched the special episode but I know that the ending of 28 is more realistic so I stay with how it ended there.

I am still not over Ziling's death and it's been over a month now.

I hope he sues them or makes them pay for defamation. There is no sincerity. They only apologized because they got caught. The damage is done. No apology accepted. Sue them so others stop their stoopid insanity.

Agree. I don't mind the end. With the story line, I expect this type of ending.

He is a great actor. I love some of his short dramas.

Oh goodness. Is it really 5 years already? It feels like I just watched this drama not too long ago. I love how the male lead love and protect the female lead. He lets her do what she’s good at, lets her figure things out on her own and steps in only when he knows she needs his help. Not the toxic and controlling kind of love. Romance and crime solving - probably why it’s still one of my favorite cdramas after many many years.

Just finished MLC in the 7th time and still crying at the end. There will never be another Li Lianhua/Cheng Yi.
