Nope, not to me. Not if you're paying attention to the dialogue and details.

Paying attention and having the able to deduce are skills needed to understand this drama. Not everything is straight forward. Some actions require you to connect the dots. Some people probably think it is boring and not good because they are not really watching. LOL

Can you explain what you mean? I guess I am not understandig the rating or what it means to break 2000s? I keep seeing 8000, 9000, etc but no idea what they are. LOL

To acknowledge, "I know I owe him a life," sounds so wrong and kind of against everything he believes, is it? I am so glad he changed the line.

Netflix is the more expensive one. It is $25/month and I hardly ever watched it. I cancelled my membership for almost a year now and only signed it back up for Vendetta of An but it sucks because it's one episode behind.

He's so good as a villian. They did a wonderful job casting!

Think it is a nickname for the eunuch/chief preceptor Cai Wen Zong. If you have watched episode 22, it was mentioned he, the old emperor, Tiemo King and Cai Weng Zong used to be friends. As of now, we don't know much about him other than he lending a hand in rescuing Genergal Gu Yu and may have been the writer of the book King Tiemo has searched for years.

I reall like him in the short drama Extremely Perilous Love. He's a good actor.

I don't think he thought that far ahead. He was so set in his personal vendetta and now it is over, he's confused as to where and what he should do next. On episode 22 when he was back at his old house boiling a pot of tea, he saw his dad across the table and they were talking. To me, he was having an internal battle and inner dialogue of what he should do next. Should he not do anything since he already accomplised what he set out to do or should he fight for national security? This will take him on a different trajectory which is not his original goal. He is mentally exhausted and ready to die. Maybe death was his end game but at this point, he is questioning what he should do next.

I can't wait to find out how the end play out but honestly I am scared to see it end. I know for sure I will go through major drama withdrawal syndrome. I am new to MDL and this is the first drama I am fully invested in discussing with this community. It's been so fun dissecting and predicting the outcomes with everyone here. Not sure when I will get to do it again but thank you everyone!
