One thing that stood out to me for todays episode is how FL purposely made sure Qian Zhi and her Mom were not present at the banquet since first timeline QZ tried to prevent the guards from taking FL away and either got hurt or died falling to the ground. She really is only trying to save her "family"

I know YQ and Master Yue relationship and YQ death was supposed to add sadness to both YQS and master yue's background stories but wufeng killing YQ never made any sense.

Wufeng literally had no success that they knew of of infiltration and now one of their spies had someone in the back mountain hook line and sinker and they kill her without getting any details of who helped her fake death etc and how she got the medicine instead of use her to get elder yue to get more info/secrets etc?

From the promotion interviews that happened near the end of when the show was airing. The actors that played GSJ and SGQ both said they acted their characters based on them loving each other (The director gave them the option to either act based on them never loving each other and only using each other or actually caring about each other and both actors chose the second option). However they were both people that placed something else as #1 before each other (GSJ - Gong Family and SGQ - revenge for her entire sect)

It does sound like she was actually pregnant though as in many of the promotions and some of the bts released etc they joke of them being a family of 4 now (GSJ, SGQ, GYZ, and baby)

It looks like a few years back when this project got the greenlight it was intended for 2 seasons of 24 episodes. However this was when it was originally meant for mangotv but guess that didnt pan out for whatever reason.

When it got to iqiyi looks like only 1 season got okayed (theres no evidence of any filming related to a s2 that was done with s1).

Hopefully the fact it had a very successful release will give it a s2 consideration, but giving all the main actors/actresses are pretty busy and director himself has an upcoming project doesnt look very promising.

I am watching the clip where he answers this question. From my understanding He isnt actually saying 2 yws is what GZY saw as canon. He specifically answers the direction he was was given was to act out an unclear expression so audiences would guess what he saw. In his acting mind of the character he says he was acting if he saw 2 yws not that it was the script there was actually 2 yws.

Yeah this seems like a mishap when cutting down the film haha. But most likely Jin Fang since just moments before it was elder yue and him fighting SGQ and Yaqi and elder yue is missing like all of his internal force

I dont think that explanation by the actor would really change if there was a S2 or not since theres no way YWS could have beaten the wufeng at the house so they probably sent back to Gong by wufeng.

Yeah honestly SGQ and GSJ seem to mirror each other exactly. Both have duty as their top priority above all else (GSJ duty to Gong family safety and SGQ revenge for her entire sect).

I think in one of the late teen or early 20's episodes SGQ specifically asked GSJ to help her get revenge for her clan and he refused. I think if GSJ had agreed she would have done something similar as YWS and helped Gong family instead.

The actors behind both characters did say in interviews though they played those characters with the interpretation they did love each other

Honestly that entire last scene that was shown to the audience didnt make any sense. The gate the opened is the same one that GSJ entered on horse in episode 2, there are supposed to be guards that announce who is entering and open the door from the inside. But then again throughout the tv show we were presented many times with just parts of scenes then shown the full sequence at a later point. So what they showed us doesnt actually mean anything haha.

Someone had posted previously an old post that this was originally planned for 2 seasons. The series itself also is doing very well on iqiyi. However just from checking the main actors upcoming dramas seems they are quite booked for the near future so a directly related season 2 doesnt seem that likely.

I think both SGQ and YWS were both mostly telling the truth at least the core feelings behind their background stories. Felt like both SGQ and GSJ are both similar in the fact they value "duty" first. For GSJ it was the Gong family and for SGQ it was getting revenge on wufeng for her family and feelings for each other second.

i think in the tub, and also after. theres a scene where GYZ and SGQ are talking about the 3 flowers and how the third one isnt for her and SGQ thanks him for the comfortable bed he gave GSJ since she had been sleeping in it.

Yeah doesnt look like it. In an interview during the promotions event of the actors that is in the most recent photos section Ryan Cheng said his favorite scene was the last scene he filmed with Lu Yu Xiao which is apparently is one where they fighting each other

I think the third trail has to do with forging a weapon with the heat. you can see little hei who is the son of the elder hua is a weapons maker and there are scenes from the trailers where GZY is using the forge to make a weapon, although it seems the task in each trial is actually just to get the sword wielder ready to learn some type of martial arts
