On iqiyi it actually says 2 new episodes every day for VIPs which differs from the calendar. Hopefully it follows what it says on iqiyi like it did with scent of time where calendar ended up being wrong

They are kind of on competing sides at the moment. Sounds like the imperial Li family that ML is part of was very incompetent and got backstabbed by Governor Sun. From what FL said her Cui family didnt think either Li or Sun are in it for the common folk and are trying to grab a piece of the pie in this civil war to govern themselves because they think they can do a better job as well.
I really enjoyed this drama. Can someone please recommend similar.

Its not that surprisingly given that HQ and her family ruined her family and caused her dad to die. HQ is still the villain in the real world since nothing in the drama actually happened.

That was just one ending. In the interview she said she wasnt sure how her character would face real world because she had filmed two endings and didnt know which one was picked.

Yeah the producer had said from the start in life there are no redos and you have to face the consequences of your actions so ending was expected. Only thing I was hoping for was that the entire thing was a dream within a dream and in reality they were just at their wedding night or something happens were HQ gets into a coma and HQ has the entire drama as a dream which causes her to have remorse and tried to set things right before anyone actually died. Man really sad about Qian Zhi and Nanfeng never happening...
Zhou Ye (actress for HQ) said she filmed two endings for the show. Does anyone know if they ever release alternate version endings? Ending was as expected given producer had previously said he wanted message to be you have to face the consequences of your actions good or bad and there are no redos, so super curious what the other ending was.
