I thought the ending was disappointing in that it was so short and we didnt get to see how HQ faced the real world...but I dont think it was an open ending last few minutes HQ was gathering the strength to face the reality of everything that had happened in the real world and finally did so when she realized ZXW would give her strength to do so. In interview the producer said the message he wanted for the conclusion was that you have to own up to your actions, good or bad, theres no such thing as a redo.

first scene in preview is ep1 opening scene extended, ZXW saves HQ from being displayed as run away fugitive and his bodyguard shows the guards papers to take HQ away. Second scene is mix of ZXW taking care of her and her waking up and he explaining every was a dream. MY and ZYL also present. HQ recognizes the incense smell in a dreams that no one else could smell and realizes every was indeed a dream and goes into melt down mode and coughs up blood and wishes to go back to dream state. looks like she does briefly and meets HRZ again in her dream. THen theres a flashback scene to where HQ, ZYL, and ZXW are all kids and shows HQ being nice to a servant, guessing thats where ZXW first started liking HQ. last part is ZXW saying he will stick with HQ through thick and thin.

based on ep 30 preview not seeing how this can be a happy ending especially with just one ep left

various clips i guess from ep 30 show her waking up, being upset it was just a dream, looks like she actually goes back into the dream state again to see HRZ, theres also a clip showing them as children, seems that when ZXW started liking HQ

Yeah and its not even going to be a full episode in the real world either since we still havent gotten the scene where HRZ disappears and she realizes its a dream.

From a short I found for ep 30 (sorry not sure how to link since on phone), in the real world looks like HQ has been in coma for 26 months, clip also shows ZXW has documents freeing her from the first scene in episode one.

I actually thought this scene was linked to the special scene where the female servant and his servant where talking about the medicine bottles and that it would be easier for him to get over HQ if he did not know she also liked him.

He just wanted to know she actually had him in his heart and got that confirmation from the soup and that gave him the closure he needed to let go. The soap itself didnt matter.

Yeah I wish there will be a few more episodes to see what happens when HQ wakes up...looks like theres only going to be one episode for that.

someone below posted the summary of the letter ZXW was reading was a summary of HQ recent activities from the walnut lady. So looks to be her spy/body guard he sent to protect her. I saw someone else on a different site speculate once HRZ can defeat both bodyguards, ZXW is going to tell him HQ location to protect her instead of the lady he sent.

Yeah the single lady appears to a bodyguard ZXW sent, the letter he was reading was just a summary of what HQ was doing recently and likely came from her. HQ also sees to suspect something as well commenting on her calloused hands

Wonder if HQ thinks Yun Niang works for ZXW mother since she noticed at the end of todays episode she knows martial arts

I think he suspected something because the hand dropped out when the body was being carried out but it didnt have the bracelet she always wears and so he probably investigated further and found out

Yeah really wish we got another few episodes to see what happens when she "wakes" up but looks like only ep 30 will have that.

Just a thought but what i am hoping for is the "reality" is she is still on her wedding night (shes wondered multiple times why she went back specifically to then) and something happened (Maybe ZXW used incense on her while ZYL was out looking for MY in a last ditch attempt to get her to turn back from continuing the evil path)
Where the special incense was used on her and the actual "dream" is basically her playing out her scenario of continuing to be bad where everyone she cares about dies then thinking she got a second chance and trying to fix it and failing.

This will cause her to wake up during the wedding/morning after and then confessing to all her families crimes, punishment will be significant for her family but no one actually dies (since in theory no one in MY family dies either at the time of wedding so punishment wouldnt be death for her family either).

I don't think in any of her dreams she is going to be able to save anyone because the director specifically said he wanted a message in this show to be you can't change anything you've already done and have to face the music for your actions, but he also said he thought people would like the ending.

Your insight actually makes alot of sense. I am guessing in this version HRZ is either the manifestation of ZXW telling her he will protect her while she is in a coma or what some other users have said, a manifestation of someone who only cares for her (IE she said multiple times how come some people try so hard and cant her anothers love etc while others dont have to try at all)

On the Youku website it actually says its one episode a day until nov 1 for the vip users so seems they changed it again wheres its 1 ep day until the end now from the second schedule picture that was previously posted.
