So I guess Joo-Won doesn’t get lost anymore because I remember back in day when he cried because he couldn’t…
He's still bad with direction. He got lost when delivering chicken to that cellphone place, the same shopping center where Frank killed Naju. Maybe because there's no gps to navigate his direction within the shopping center.
She was amazed and pleased but too early to speak about love. Bong Seok still has a long way to go...
She could have already fallen for how attentive and caring Bong Seok is towards her, not only because he has superpowers. Not all female species fall only for looks or powers 😅
the way joo won's face got smashed, i hope that means frank survived and will somehow show up to help them
I assume Frank was unconscious after getting beaten to a pulp, but it was the explosion and the fire that killed him. If he got burnt to ashes, I suppose he won't be able to heal himself.
this drama is just poorly structured. more than half the time it spends in flashbacks. production should've hired…
I think that it a matter of style of storytelling, no? Just because the writer chose to build the momentum in the present and then delve into the past to develop the characters and the storyline doesn't mean it's poorly constructed. It simply means it doesn't suit your taste. Furthermore, it doesn't matter whether this approach is used in a drama or a webtoon; it's the writer's choice to present the narrative non-linearly.
Personally, I don't have an issue with episodes dedicated to flashbacks. Maybe I'd prefer some transitions between the present and the past as the present-day story progresses, but they've already incorporated that within the flashbacks. If they were to add more transitions to the present, it might become too confusing for most audiences, and then I would argue that it's poorly constructed.
Why was it disturbing? I haven't watched it, that's why I'm taking some opinions
The show is very dark. It explores some seriously messed-up folks in a messed-up world, and it doesn't hold back on showing violence in a grotesque way. Plus, there are some sex scenes that are portrayed in a seriously disturbing manner, imo.
This one was pretty disturbing to watch but really good! I don't understand the below 8 ratings at the moment. It's a 9/10 from me. But hey, it's MDL, so it doesn't surprise me anymore. I loved the acting from everyone, but Yeom Hye Ran remains my favorite. Personally, she continues to steal scenes in every drama she's in. I do have some questions about the timeline, though, because some things do not fit in when you carefully consider it. But really, that's probably just a minor gripe from an overall really well-done show.
Yeah the low ratings might be from people that expected to watch something like "celebrity" but getting a darker…
I don't understand why someone would give a low rating for a show which genre is not what they expected. Just stop watching it and move on. I think by second episode people could already judge what kind of a show they're getting themselves into.
I was really hoping to see them fight the "boss spheres" and not just the "worker spheres". It didn't feel like…
I get where you're coming from. I'm also super curious about the spheres and what the government is doing to handle the situation, especially with setting up shelters and other stuff they did to handle the crisis instead of delegating the attack operation to a bunch of high school students. I was just pointing out that given the overarching theme of part 2, which focuses more on the humanity aspects rather than just survival, the prison episode is necessary
I was really hoping to see them fight the "boss spheres" and not just the "worker spheres". It didn't feel like…
Without the prison episode, the viewer may not have fully understood why all the kids didn't just pick up their guns and shot Yeong Soo. They don't have it in them to kill another human being. They couldn't even shot the inmates when Ae Sol's life at stake, let alone shooting their own classmate, in addition to the confusion and panic. It also highlight the recurring theme that the human themselves can be equally dangerous and destructive, if not more so, than the crisis they face from the aliens.

I would argue that the prison episode was crucial in providing additional context and perspective to the final episode and perhaps the overall theme of part 2 . I'll elaborate a bit below.
Well, I binged all the episodes and honestly, it's not as terrible as I initially thought after reading those scathing reviews six hours ago. Maybe my mind has been warped into having lower expectations, but who knows?
I was crossing my fingers for some juicy intel on those cryptic spheres and whether or not they snatched up Kim Won Bin. However, it turned out that the show had a bigger picture in mind - to explore the different facets of humanity during a crisis. Although it wasn't what I was expecting, it was still interesting to see how the high school students coped with the apocalypse.
I watched episode 1 of Tomorrow after this one, but it didn't grab me immediately. The worldbuilding is more fascinating…
I'm just using the literal definition of crybaby since he cried so many times in this drama, and he is so hot-headed that he put other people in danger. I'm not saying that because he's a crybaby and hot-headed that his character is bad, as you've mentioned there's a backstory to why he behaves in such way. But as an audience watching him, I was annoyed at times. lol.
The more you analyze it the more you realize how poorly written especially the second half is. I agree the build…
yes, I agree that they dropped the ball in the second half. Especially the use of THAT trope for the final episode. I tend to be a bit more forgiving in my rating though since I really enjoyed the first half and mildly enjoying the second half until I got frustrated at the end. Also although sometime they can be a bit frustrating, I like how the relationship between the main characters are portrayed here. 8/10 from me

And that rap MV was dope!
