So Saeon really is a Paik. But instead of being the son, he's the brother! Twist. I was actually leaning more towards him being a twin (until we found out that the other was dead) than being part of that family. But right now, I bet that SE wishes that he was dead than really belonging to the Paik's. Also, the old man was busy in his older age lol.
As for the mother I'm torn. I see where the real Saeon got his craziness, but I don't know if I can really fault her for killing grandpa. Some mothers would have done what she did tbh.
The kidnapper is the dead I'm waging so tomorrow should be them just closing the story and hopefully a happy ending. I do wonder what the kidnapper said that made SE run away like that. Oh and don't give me that bs that the mom always "loved" Heejoo because I don't buy it. Spare me.

Very good start. I'm hooked to see where this goes. Eun-Ho's old boss- team leader was such a scumbag. I hope he gets his just deserts. Although he may be seen less now that EH is at Peoplez.

Eps 10 & 11 really showed how alike and basically the same versions of the other Li’An and Ningyan are. I guess that’s why they will fit once the story gets there. I love how DW looks at TXW like she’s the most precious thing to him(even if it’s for self perseverance rn.) They have good chemistry so far.

I think I saw someone on here post that the novel ending is a happy one. Who knows if they will do it tho. TSL had an open hopeful ending. So, if they won't give us a HEA ending, I'll take the TSL like one.

Caught up to ep 4! I'm really loving this drama. It gives me TSL vibes but also so different. Loving Mu Xiang Ling spunky little demoness she is. Xie Xuchen is so much like Shadioan Youquin(even the emotionless part for duty thing) I wonder if he'll be more like SYQ later on.

Agreed def one of the best of 2024. Even if there was little between JYY and YJL. There interactions and chemistry más up for it for me. Plus they got their happy ending which can be rare in c drama.

I hope so. The other rumored premiere dates for Flourished Peony and The Blossoming Love were true. Crossing fingers. If it will premiere on any of those dates it will be revealed in the coming days.

And finished! Got to say that even though the last 8 episodes or so were extremely tedious, because of all the angst. This story is a great journey of female empowerment and like I saw when BO was still airing it was so easy emerging myself in Yingying's journey. She was one of the best FL's I've seen. Even though she fell she knew how to stand back up and she never gave up. Yes, this drama is not without it's faults but I loved it. The good outweighed the bad for me. And the acting was impressive. I saw complaints about the romance being underwhelming on here and I disagree. Could we have had more Yingying and Jinglan moments? perhaps but this drama wasn't about that. Romance was secondary because this was Yingying's journey to becoming Lady Silk. Still, I pretty much loved their love story and the chemistry between Seven Tan and Zhen Ye Cheng.

Watched the first episode and so much reminded me of The Starry Love. Not just costume wise and sets but also some scenes and effects were very similar. Since it’s from the same producer it makes sense that it feels so familiar as well as different. But this one gave me the same vibes so I know I’ll love it too. Will it be as good as TSL? I guess I’ll see. I did enjoy the first ep and it has the enemies to lovers trope that I enjoy always a plus.

Princess Li An is so much like X'Qian I see why they will fall for each other. Both are troublemakers and spunky but he's smarter and she's not so much as of now.

yep. I think there was only a few costumes I really liked in TSL but at the same time i understood it was because of the low budget. I'm glad that here they have more budget for the costumes.

Oh the producer? that's even better! TSL is one of my faves. + I think the novel is from the same writer who wrote TSL but I'm not sure.
True some of the sets and realms look familiar. The head pieces/hair ornaments of the ML are definitely the ones CXX wore on The Starry Love

Up to episode 35 and I can't wait to see that Prince get his karma. Though I still pretty much enjoy this series the last episodes have been a bit tedious. Too much evilness and Yingying gets no break, BUT it's her character and the cast that makes this drama worth it tbh. That's why I like it because of Yingying & the acting. Plus, she has great chemistry with ZYC. 5 episodes left can't wait to see how it all end

she reminds me so much of Yetan from TSL that girl was sassy lol. I know it's from the same writer, so it makes sense.

Finally, a starting date next week!

Oh I would have hated him leaving after everything he did. Much better end for him in the drama.
