Huaqing does love her sister even though they don't get along she still looks after her. I hope Lian realizes this and stops competing with her. They'll never be as close as Piyang and her, but she can have another strong bond with her sister.

Going back to ep 21 Pinyang's story is so tragic, she didn't deserve that. At least the ones who caused her death and Heng's have paid now.

ep 21- TXW is so good with crying scenes. She got to me and apparently to DW too. He seemed very vulnerable in those scenes.

eps 1 & (from what I could understand)
So, FL married that pos husband to get medicine for her mom. And that family in turn would take her as a wife and take her dowry money that was alot. I guess she was even richer than them, but her family doesn't have high standing because they are merchants. Therefore, she is stuck in this fake marriage that she was manipulated into because the medicine was fake. All to make money from others and to take her money. Since that lowlife husband is in love with that nasty county clerk, I don't understand why he doesn't just divorce her? Is it the embarrassment of the time, how divorce was looked upon back then or is it more? hmm. Now she's probably going to have to find a way to get out of this marriage and that will be the juice of this story and her journey to freedom.

I saw the first two episodes and man are the subs bad. People here weren't kidding. Mango is horrible at them. I could only understand like 80% LOL. I hope Viki or another streaming service pick it up. Loved the FL and ML's first meeting tho.

I'm glad they changed the FL in the drama. I know some are very annoyed by Lian but I like her. She fits with Qian's personality perfectly.

so much happened these episodes! Xu Q'ian really is an expert in cases. He is so smart.
Finally the truth is out about Li'An's true identity. Those scenes were hilarious esp when XQA was trying to manipulate the Princess but in the end couldn't do it and was truthful. They are so alike they just fit. I know some like him with Princess Huaqing but I feel like they don't mix well together. She's smart, he's smart, and well even though they work very well together they are bland. I think they work better as work partners. Qi'An describing Princess Li'An described perfectly why he will fall for her if he hasn't already.
The baby dragon is adorable! I'm so glad it's ok. I see now why it's connected to XQA.
The Emperor is very sus to me. I wouldn't be surprised if he's really behind the thing in the lake. Speaking about that this case goes way deeper than the Guardians thought. Everything is connected.

loved the first episode! so sweet and funny. Loving seeing EarthMix in a lighthearted, comedy series for once. Like I said on twitter their series are always so heavy (and another one coming in Only Friends) so this is a nice change of pace. + their chemistry gets better and better with each series.

Ep 10 was so good! I know TToLO is very emotionally draining but it also has those small moments of triumph and hope and well ep 10 was riddled with them. I love how Godeoki is loved by everyone even some of the biggest officilals they see her as an equal and that is good to see after all the pain these charcters have gone thru. It was great to see Godeoki win against that pos magistrate even if the evil is still concealed in the minister of war, and that biatch old slave owner that is back.
I'm also happy that for once Godeoki decided to be selfish for herself, at least let her be happy more than a minute. Her and Seung Hwi deserve that.
Her husband is a pos, I hate him. No cause is more important than family ok he's gay whatever but not caring about his brother????? wtf? and I bet that pos will be back later. Or how is Godeoki found out to have two husbands? Unless someone talks or CSH sadly outs himself.
Goodbye Lady Song but now the original villanous old master is back and married to Godeoki's worst nightmare: sigh.

You know hate down voting on MDL doesn't matter. I'm pretty sure MBC doesn't care about MDL or even knows about it. want to make a difference? do that in more important sites where ratings will matter more.

even though I'm liking this drama, I think I need to stop comparing it to The Starry Love. But for me it's hard because some scenes and character traits are so similar to TSL. Even the sets are the same lol like in ep 7 I recognized the Heavenly Realm set haha. Anyways, I'll try harder to see this as its own thing and enjoy it as such. I do like it a lot, but I just need to let TSL go when watching.
