The Beauty and the Beast vibes are really strong in this one. I love it since BAtB is both my favorite movie and love story. Anyways, I am adding myself into one that prefers the Demon race to the Eternals. I don't know there's something about them. They are sketchy. The Demons may be evil but they seem to have more heart ex. Fan Yue that despite himself is starting to really care about Bai Shou. His companions have already noticed this. Maybe it has to do with their past lives but that he's falling for her, he is. Enhances my theory that he'll be falling in love first. I'm obsessed with MM this and Guardians of The Dafang keep me glued to my screen. New obsessions. I saw some complaints about ARP's acting in the first 5 eps and while I agree that he was having a bit of trouble with making Fan Yue imposing and giving him that charm needed: he was much better in eps 6 & 7. I think he's done an awesome job with that in these new episodes. And the chemistry with BL is perfect. I can't wait to see where our characters journey takes them.
The kiss scene was shot so beautifully. Plus Dylan and XiWei have so much chemistry. Such a shame that they were paired in a drama were romance is secondary. Don't get me wrong GotD is my favorite airing drama rn next to Moonlight Mystique but imagine these two in a strictly romance drama? wowza! BTW what was that ending? more intrigued.
eps 12 & 13 XXC is already so in love with MXL, so sweet. That mirage shifu..... ugh I can't stand the witch. I hope someone kills her or she's removed from her position. So tired of her.
Watching preview clips and the opening/closing credits I feel like Fan Yue is going to fall in love first. But yes this is going to be painful. I'm ready.
+ the actor who plays Bao Shuo's father was also the father of the FL in The Starry Love. Nice connection there. He tends to play the less serious, goofy fathers from what I can tell XD.
First 2 episodes done! I really liked it. Usually I'm not into heavy fantasy, xianxia's but this one is good. And by that, I mean Demons, etc. I couldn't really watch TTEOTM. But I know how it ends. MM is different for me tho, captured me from ep 1. Bai Lu and Ao Rui Peng look really good together, liking their chemistry. It's funny how in Bai Luo's dramas she always ends up betraying the demon that she loves: TTEOM, MM and from previews The River Lament too. Must be a plot theme for her Xianxia's. Haha.
that's it I think. He wants to be the best and strongest. Therefore, he hates anyone who might be a rival to him.
He wants to rule the world. I dunno but o feel like he killed the first ruler. Just the way he talked to his statue. Or he’s just a very shallow, envious man.
