Just finished eps 7 & 8 FP doesn’t shy away from how brutal those times were for women. Have to say I loved how the ML and FL handled that brute, pos husband. Im so glad Mudan was able to get Wanning out of that marriage. That impressed the ML a lot. She is basically the woman he described. Btw the subs were much better in these two episodes.

Everyone is fighting over which should be the highest rated drama. There’s so much competition. They are all good plus idol dramas(except The Blossoming Love I think)that ups the fighting.
Preview for ep 11. I'm falling harder for this drama and Bai Lu & Ao Rui Peng as a couple! she's had chemistry with all her partners (she's a talented, amazing actress) but I think he's one of her strongest chemistries. I'll post the clip in tags if anyone wants to see it.

same I didn't think I was going to love it as much. Usually, I don't stick with high fantasy Xianxia( the only one which I did was The Starry Love. ) But this one is something else. The acting by both the leads is good and their chemistry is +.
The falling in love phase is even better than I thought. FY is already so crazy about her and she's getting there too. The romantic angst in ep 9 was sublime. Can't wait for the ep 10 & 11 previews.
