make more xianxia with less annoying 2nd ml's. The Starry Love was different in that area because there's 2 nd ML's. One loves the FL at first but then realizes that he sees her as a sister, moves on and falls in love again. The other one always has his couple, so he's not interested in the FL at all. TSL was refreshing in that area. We need more dramas/xianxia like this,.

I think the only way that she may cut him off completely is if something happens to Fan Yue because of Chong Zhao. But even then, she may still forgive him in the end UGH. FL and the 2nd ML syndrome oy!
Ep 27 Was hilarious with the bridge scene . The stopping and restarting of the music 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Xinnian needs a partner like Simu because he’s such a drama king 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Ep. 28 Simu and Xinnian are cute. Yay for Lian fighting for love. The hanging scene again Xinnian s a drama king but such a teddy bear too. I’m glad LW helped the prime minister
They aren’t kidding with the melodrama part of the story. Imagine when it gets to the angst part of FY and BS’s story? We’re going to hurt like we have with the other arcs already. Tian Shou’s story is so tragic, while I don’t agree with her father lying to her about her mother and why he threw her out of Outlander City he did it to protect her. Dumb but logical.it seems like he also had something to do with Fan Yue finding Tian Shou. Just the way he said it was fortunate FY found her 🤔. If it was his plan he may have hated FY but he knew TS would be ok with him. Mumu is so adorable. Love that ARP was given the chance to change up his character a little bit. I do think his feelings for Shou come from the real Yue. The question is does he know he’s in love with Bai Shou? Going by tomorrow’s previews I’m going to say yes or at least he does know now, after that kiss. If Fu Ling is really Bai Shou’s sister, I’m going to hate that. unless she’s under a spell of forgetfulness there’s no way to repay or redeem the evil she’s done. She killed her own father in cold blood ffs. She enjoys torturing her sister. How do you redeem that? And if the writers are going that route it better make sense or that will be my only complaint against this drama
ep 19 really told the tragic story of Niegxi and Sanqi. Always those righteous sects ruining everything when thinking they are better than everyone. I actually felt bad for Sanqi a little. All of his hatred for humanity came from thinking that Niegxi had betrayed him. It was interesting to see the origin story of both Quimin and Xualing. Seems like they kept that from the novel from what I saw on here. ep 20. Don't know what to feel about NXY he seems to be on both sides. He hates that MXL loves XXC yet still helps when he can. BTW I loved MXL's blue, spirit clan dress. The costumes are gorgeous. Step up from The Starry Love where the costumes were simpler, I'm guessing because of budget. Here they seem to have it.

haha that annoys me. Make up your mind BS either you are done with him or not. I hated, hated when she spoke up for him in Outlander City when he couldn't or wouldn't do the same for her. Fan Yue is definitely in love already. That's why Mumu has feelings for her. Not sure if he has accepted that yet tho. As for Bai Shou not sure, she definitely cares for him a lot, but I don't know if she's falling in love yet.

I understand, feel the same. The bad thing here is that while she's not in love with CZ she does love him as family. that's why it's hard for her to cut ties with him. I wish she would because that controlling eternal deserves it but at least she's not as close or as trusting of him as she used to be.
I get the feeling that this drama can't be wrapped up in 40 episodes
I hope rumors that it may have a second season are true. Because there's way too much left for just 12 episodes. GoTD doesn't deserve to be rushed at the end.
