I'm loving their chemistry. When I heard that Landy Li was going to be paired with RJL I was a little skeptical. But now I see that I had nothing to worry about. They look so good together.

ep 5:
The first intense face to face meeting. Before Jiang Ci knew Wei Zhao was the shameless cat she seemed in awe of his good looks LOL. I wonder if that will play in later when they fall for each other. But man is he really ruthless when it comes to her. For now, he doesn't care what happens to her either way. He seemed impressed by JC's cleverness for a minute there. The herb scene was beautifully shot. I was in awe.
I see how WZ has her in his hands. I was wondering how JC wouldn't say anything when she met him, which he let her know who he was instantly haha. Poor Jiang Ci she was in terror but handled that masterfully. She really is a strong FL even if she does dumb things at times.
Meeting Lady Tong, it's easy to see why Pei Yan is the way he is, he gets it from her. Anyway, can't wait to watch more tomorrow.

Seems like this one will only drop one episode a day. Not sure if that's how Mango TV is but seeing the calendar that's how it will be.

I'm in the mood for a dark drama and this may be it.

This series really deals with homophobia and how this affects lgbtq+ people. When his brother told Chihiro that he was disgusting I couldn't help and think: "nah you're disgusting!" What his family did to him is unforgivable. Unfortunately, that's how many families react when someone comes out, esp in Asian and Latino cultures, sadly. Hoaren and Chihiro are so messed up and this series is DARK but somehow in the middle of all that toxicness and darkness they found each other. And maybe, maybe they can help heal each other. But it won't be an easy road if ever. & Now the frog man is back, sigh.

This episode seemed choppy af. Oh well.

That ending was shocking! I never expected Four to be hit by a car like that. But I guess it had to happen for Wa to be able to change it somehow. Which, I wonder how'll she'll do it since she exhausted her power with Khun. TBH I felt bad for him but you can't force someone to like you, if they don't. Not that he did but still... sad that he was embarrased. But now Wa probably won't tell him anything til later. BTW I'm glad that Wa cut that nasty uncle out of her and Vivi's life. He didn't deserve them. Hopefully he leaves them alone. And LOL at Wa's confession that she turned back.
+ This series reminds me so much of Be My Favorite. Like when Kawi turned back time because he had fed'up his future with the man that he loved and went back to change it. Tho R4U was on the cuter side than BMF til this episode. Now it went dark like BMF was at times.

HG actually wrote the first ones tho. HJ started in chapter 51 which is the one where she got really hurt. He has a nasty personality that showed in that comment.

So it's confirmed that Ji-Uk is actually a Bok. Like I've mentioned before I really wish the story wouldn't have gone there but oh well. Just a small complaint I have. It doesn't take away from the good in this series. LMAO at Ji-Uk's attempts to get Hae-Young to talk to him. I laghed so much seeing her thrawt every single one of them. If you live on your own the things he did are easy to fix. I loved that kiss scene KYD and SMA have such good chemistry! HY can't really hid her feelings easy to see why she would fall for JU. And U Jae it's too late man... leave them alone. He had his chance and blew it now he wants Hae-Young back? I don't think so. His wife also doesn't deserve him treating her that way.
I'm shocked that it was actually Ha Jun who wrote that comment that made Ja Yeon so depressed. I never saw that coming. But I guess they have to make him a sorta detestable character so she stays with Gyun Hun who she is already falling for. Seems like angst is coming in the next episodes but it looks like HY won't be that angry that JU lied to her about his real identity.

ep 4.
I really don't like how Pei Yan manipulates Jiang Ci. I'm not excusing Wei Zhao's actions either because right now he's a monster to her. He won't stop hujrting her to get what he wants. And yes, she's too much of a wild child hence why she keeps ruining his plans lol. I want to see how they reach middle ground after this, Back to PY there's just something about how he manipulates JC that sits wrong with me. She trusts him too much and honestly I don't think he warrants that trust. I hope she sees his bad side soon. As for PY and WZ love the cat and mouse game they are playing both are clever in right upping each other.

I hope they work together again. They said if they found a script they'd like and the oppourtunity presented itself then they'd take the chance and do something together. Crossing fingers: CXX and LL are one of my favorite on screen couples. TSL was the one that pulled me into Xianxia too. Before I tried watching some, but they didn't hold my attention til The Starry Love. Agreed she is just a great actress all around.

I'm curious.

She had great chemistry with CXX too. Everyone loved them in The Starry Love even hoping that they'd become a rl couple. She's one of those actresses that can create chemistry with her costars. She has it with RLJ too.

Hard situation how she'll fall for him. I guess it'll also be a side of trauma bonding too from what they're about to go thru together.

Episode 2 was so good! So, Jack was faking his violence . I had a feeling he was a kind, sweet person like him doesn't change that drastically. I also feel like Jack protected Joker from signing that contract with the collector. He "hates" him right now but at the same time I don't think he wants him in debt with that soulless man. I adore YinWar's chemistry one of the best of all the pairings. After 2 years of waiting for a comeback this was the perfect series for them.
"They look like they are flirting." LMAO I think that yes, deep down they were pretty much flirting with each other in that moment. Next episode we finally get to see the robbery where Jack says: "Why is it always you?"
PS. I'm glad the ratings went up. I hope childish people stop review bombing this awesome series.

Ep 3
Both of them are so toxic for Jian Ci. I mean one tries to kill her over and over again and the other uses her to his leasure not caring if she lives or dies. I'm very interested to see how the romance develops between WZ and JC here. Because boy it's dark. And of course WZ has a very dark, tragic past which makes sense why he wants to kill Teng Rui. I'm really impressed with RLJ in this drama. Aside from the Blue Whisper I hadn't really liked him in his other dramas. But I think this is his best acting since TBW or even better. He seems to really enjoy this role and it is obvious in his acting.

Great episode today. Love the slowburn romance and how they are finally focusing more on it. I mean they have to there's only 5 episodes left. The opening and kimbap scene had me laughing out loud. This drama really is a comfort show. Leaves you feeling good after you watch an ep. And I like that there's not too much drama making it an easy, fun, cute watch.

The writer from IOTNBO????? omg! that's one of my favorite K-Dramas so ofcourse I'll watch this. The synopsis had already caught my attention. Knowing it's from the same writer? I'm in.

I'm in the minority but I liked it. It looks like it's going to be a hot mess tho.

I see why the characters are going to love Jian Ci so much, I already do. Aside from being clever, witty, strong- willed and independent she is a foodie and loves adventure lol. Got to say I love FL likes this and Landy Li knows exactly how to bring these characters to life.
