I think it's because since it finished airing and most live watched it, they've moved on to other dramas. 2. People are not commenting as much anymore because it's been a month since it ended. We have comments but not as many as when it was airing.

Same I think both fell in love in the first episode. It's just that Youqin realized it first. It takes the mortal arc for Yetan to realize hers.

:). a little bit surprising since this one was highly anticipated but I get their points. I did feel like ep 1 was a bit slow. I'll see how I feel later. The CP is def gonna be problematic but if the character arcs are good I'll deal.

I see the chemistry between LYX and Bailu but that CP seems so toxic, I dunno. I'll probably sorta like them because sometimes I'm in the mood for an angsty one . Oh those editing problems all due to the massive cuts I guess. Luckily TSL didn't suffer from a cut down. I'll continue watching TTEOTM because I like it so far but if it gets draggy later then buh bye XD.

wow! The reaction to TTEOTM on MDL is so overwhelmingly good. I'msurpised it got the opossite reaction in China. Comparison to TSL? They are so vastly different that I can't see how they can be compared tbh. I can't even compare YQ to Tantai Jin because both are complete opposites. I'd say post betrayal Chang Yi(The Blue Whisper) is more similar to TTJ than YQ. But maybe I can see a little with the pacing and the reusing of the CGI but other than that not really.

Yeah I think it's gonna suffer a bit from the drastic cut downs to 40 eps from 50 or 58 eps originally. The overall story is very intriguing and angsty plus I see the chemistry. Hopefully it stays good throughout the 40 eps like TSL did.

But yeah not gonna be on here as nearly as much as I was before. I'll probably camp out in TTEOTM section depending on how non toxic it stays. And, in a BL one if I find a series I love.

I'm liking it so far not sure I'll love it as much as TSL but so far I really liked ep 1. IA that it's slower but not bad at all. I think since the episodes were cut down it will be fast paced soon. Ep 1 was more like introductions and exposition. People who have watched up to ep 6 are loving it so I think it's rythm/pace will be good. I am very intrigued how those two will fall in love tho haha.

As I said below I'm not watching this without Ding Yuxi heck no! He is Han Shuo and another ML/Character will not fit in this world. I get that he's busy & that's awesome for him! But the production could wait for him esp since it's still all up in the air etc. Plus, I love the chemistry between Lusi and Yuxi. Him not being in it feels wrong and it won't be the same. Crossing fingers and hoping for the best for DYX to take his role back .

The comparisons to LBFAD shouldn't be here, . The stories different some similarities but still. LBFAD couldn't hold my attention and I tried twice to watch it. I think my biggest problem with that one was the FL since I hate annoying and childish FL's. That's why I'm happy Susu is neither childish or annoying and holds her own pretty well. My kind of FL. But you don't see me going to that section and saying how much better TTEOTM is to LBFAD. Still, I understand why LBAD is loved the way it is even if it wasn't for me.

Reading comments on this I'm glad I dropped this back in ep 7. It never got any better. This was initially sold as a romance and to see that there is none is baffling. I guess I'll continue getting my romance from Chinese Xianxia's or better written Kdramas. And I don't agree that romance is detrimental to a plot esp since a lot of the original concept for any kind of drama was romance in the first place. IA that sometimes the writers suck at it but for the most part I enjoy the romance when it's well written.
