YQ does it because he loves YT and wants her happy. He knows that she wants and needs her sister back. + I think in the novel before his sacrifice both decide not to be together because her being the flower is a big problem. Or maybe he lies to her about not wanting to be with her so she'd let him go and he can revive QK. I guess a life for a life works in the novel.

YQ sacrifices himself to bring back QK for Yetan. But YT has no idea, she thinks he betrayed her and got married(I believe). I think she finds out years later what he did. CF and QK get married etc. The author released an epilogue recently and it looks like YQ & YT get their HE there.

+ even more heartbreaking he's trying to break thru the barrier when she's about to die. You have to look down because the camera is mostly on her. I just noticed and it made me cry.

The Lamu, Heartless and Wenren arc showed that they were soulmates. Her falling in love with every single one of them= she loves all of him. Just like his shards falling in love with her showed that every part of him loves her. Man they are beautiful.

I don't want the rating to drop because even if the ending was a bit disappointing. TSL deserves all the love because its that good. 10/10

I'm already rewatching my favorite parts. And not done with eps 25-40. I watched most of them but still missing some stuff here and there. So yay! I still don't have to let go.

It wouldn't surprise me if CXX was actually crying. I can imagine the emotion of how painful those scenes were got to him. Yep the chemistry is amazing they bring out the best in each other in their acting skills.

She brought so much life into his life that he couldn't help but fall in love she was exactly what he needed. Just like he was the one to show her she was worthy of being loved and had someone who was totally devoted to her. Even his shards loved her that much. I think he sensed that she was catching feelings to which he told her to keep on hating him. That hate would protect both.
I love the confession scene & when he says: "Why does it matter who you are? What matters is you." damn pure, unadultered love right there.
Completely agree. I love how both CXX and LLD played this love story. They hit all the right beats all the way thru.

Yes at least he knows his daughters will be back. Although Suizi said that the flower took 1,000 years to be reborn. The boys managed to get it back in a little over a year. Maybe the twins being reborn won't take that long.

In a way the 3 are very similar. The main couples have similar themes in their love stories. Thank goodness they aired around the same time. They helped fill the void the previous one left us with. Now I don't know what will help me with the void TSL left me with tho sigh.

It's gonna be really hard for them to top this one for me. Up there with Alchemy of Souls as my fave drama ever. For all the reasons you mention.

CXX and LLD are the best young actors of their generation. No wonder they were rated #1 & #2 at their acting academy. YQ's desperation for YT :(. He'll always love her no matter what.
