I was re watching ep 7 last night. I love that moment when Yetan walks thru that revealing shield and everyone sees that she really is that beautiful. The look on YQ's face and the way he swallows.. haha. . Boy was so head over heels for her even then. But of course, he wouldn't dare admit it yet. Their journey to love will always be my favorite.

We were lucky that their relationship was so loving and healthy. I’ve seen other dramas not just Xianxia’s where the ML is so toxic to the female lead that it really takes a way from the love story for me. Plus Xingxu’s and Li’s chemistry helped a lot with how intimate and comfortable their scenes were.
Back to my regular watching. Ep 24 is so well written, writers are so good. Tan is so conflicted and I as audience get it: she loves the shards and refuses to let them go. The thing is although every one of them has a different personality and is unique they are still Youqin, as we see later. She fell in ,I’ve with all of them because she loves all of him. I also get Qingheng and Ziwu I can’t be mad at them. They love their brother and want him back. CXX is so good at portraying Youqin’s love for Yetan. In whatever form he is: I feel it. Their’s is such a beautiful love story. YQ’s return tomorrow I finally get to watch it in full context of the episode. The sad thing is I have to say goodbye to: Lamu, Heartless and Wenren. Well not really. I love how Xingxu kept on playing them(subtently) when he’s in his original Youqin form.
