Seeing spoilers for the upcoming finale episode. Any empathy I may have had for SZ is gone. That bitch better die and die a karma death. If anyone wants to see I posted it in the spoiler thread. Be warned tho it will shatter you emotionally
"Forgetting the past may be easy, but forgetting this love is difficult.” “You are the toughest girl I’ve…
Hos heart was telling him to stop. I love that shot when he's coming at her with his sword, flinches and spins away. Shows the conflict he was going thru he knew he should kill her because that's what he was told to do. But he can't do it because something is telling him it's wrong. Glad he listened their love really is the thing of destiny.
Honestly, I felt so dissatisfied seeing how they didnt exact full justice on HE. And I think its because of Chinese…
While yes I wish she would have killed him, I'm glad she didn't. I think that would have pushed her character over the edge and turned her into something that she is not. Showing mercy makes her strong. It would have been so easy to just kill him, the fact that she didn’t shows her strong will power. He is her husband's father despite all the pain he’s caused both. And while Youqin owes ZERO to his trash parent he is still his father. That would have driven a wedge between them whether they wanted it or not. IMO taking his power is a punishment worse than death. Because that's all he wanted: power. Now he's weak af. He'll probably be the laughingstock of the 4 realms. He's lost his children's loyalty & respect. Watching them all turn against him was very satisfying. He’s also lost his realms respect. They all abandoned him to serve YQ instead and to protect the greatest “evil of the world.” Imagine the blow to his arrogance. Honestly, I prefer this to her killing him. And who knows someone may kill him in the remaining episodes.
Y’all I just realized since YQ and CF can wait 1,000 years for QK and YT revival as they are from the heavenly…
NOOO that is heartbreaking. I wonder if he can become an immortal? I think both Yetan and Qingkui were expected to become immortal at some point because of their marriages. Maybe they can do that for their father.
They also did the whole memory loss over there with the ML and from what I saw it dragged on for more than 4 episodes…
IA this drama is perfet and it's definitely getting a 10 from me. I loveit so much. YQ's memory loss is a perfect example of good writng. While I hate that cliche and wish they woukdn't have gone it only lasted what? episode and a half? LOL. He remembers quickly because he really loves her. Just one interaction and his memories start returning. Chong Zi didn't know how to handle cliches and make them work. About the ending, while I prefer seeing the girls again and them happy if the end shows Youqin and Chaofeng waiting with a lot of hope that they'll be back. I'll be satisfied too.
I watched last episode of journey of chongziThey should watch this show , even though these 6 episodes were tragic…
They also did the whole memory loss over there with the ML and from what I saw it dragged on for more than 4 episodes yikes. I tried watching that drama and just couldn't get into it. The end was bad too. We lucked out the The Starry Love had good writing etc. TJoCZ lacked that sadly and it became a mess
the way she resolved not to kill the heavenly emperor made perfect sense. I always worried as to how that was…
Let’s hope for the best. I saw a clip that seems pretty much like the end and I don’t know how people will react if it is. But could just be the end of ep 39.

Totally agree. I was worried that they would have her kill him. I was pleasantly surprised that the writers didn’t. This works so much better and doesn’t damage her character or her relationship with Youqin or his siblings
