I think you are right. See I always thought of fate as Love or soulmates but it doesn’t necessarily always mean that. It could just be people meant to br together for important reasons etc. Perhaps theirs was ensuring that Youqin was born.
Ep 21 with Heartless and Yetan is really a preview of how much Tan and Youqin will love eachother once he’s back. Loved those scenes. I remember people being mad at Yetan when eps 21 anf 22 aired because of how she reacted to CF. Seeing it for myself it makes sense. She didn’t know Feng at the time she just knew he was someone who had lied to them all and tried to kill her, Youqin and now Fiery as well as Wudai. I see why she reacted that way esp since he was causing pain to Qingkui. But I love how their relationship will blossom later.
