Their story was so tragic, even if they said BS and FY are separate entities I choose to believe that they have something of XY and JY I’m them too. In that way we can say that they got their happy ending too thru Yue and Shou.

I don't know but I've read fans say that the novel is a sequel to ALP in the continuation of TianQi and YueMi's story. It's MM which has no connection because of copyright. The writers took the og characters and created a whole new story.

apparently, the novel is connected to alp universe. It tells Tianqi and Yuemi's story as she reincarnated and he lost his memories. copyright issues forced the writers to change everything. ALP was tencent and MM is IQiYI. Hence why they couldn't connect it to the og story.

Because of copyright issues. They had to change the back story so now it has no connection to ALP or it's novel.

that's why it turned out so good in the end.

about the costumes a detail I loved is how Bai Shou's dresses slowly become blue toned and purple toned as she starts to fall in love with Fan Yue. Everything was thought out so well even in the costumes.

I saw that the writers went with the concept that reincarnations are separate from their original selves. MM did this too. I guess that’s what’s going to happen from now on.

Heaven brought him back because their love saved the world. Heaven realized that she had been wrong in keeping Xing Yue and Jing Yuan apart. Instead of making XY stronger it made her weaker and miserable. Bai Shou oth was stronger because of her love for Fan Yue and his love for her. That’s what allowed them to defeat Mo Li. She gave back FY as a gift to BS after all the pain she went thru and to atone for what Heaven did to XY and JY. Also all the people they had lost would eventually be back.

If you watched the extra ep where they get married, it is implied that they are all alive. Heaven said that all who had died for a greater cause would be back. FY was the first because he was her great love. + I heard that the wedding was filmed later/recently. Could be why the other actors weren’t there.

yep. I was so glad when YQ gave him the middle finger because of his love for YT and left the Heavenly Realm.

You see a lot of that in BS and FY too. Not as much with the supporting characters because they are different from TSL's ones but the mc share a lot of the same similarities.

His father basically forced him to give up his emotions because the dad was such a coward that he preferred to sacrifice his son for the greater good than fight the evil himself. UGH I hated SY's father so much. I love how despite YQ not having emotions he still falls in love with YT. Then when he comes back after the shard adventure it's even better.

FY is a demon Lord(Jing Yuan gave him his powers so now he is a Demon God like JY.) BS is more complicated. She is a Goddess but not in a supreme deity body but a mortal one. Still a Goddess tho.

YQ and YT were one of the first healthy xianxia cps. Knowing that TSL director also directed MM, I see the similarities. Love them so much too. CXX and LL wanted to work together again but I guess no chance has come up yet.

I love them so much too. They are my second favorite xianxia couple. Bai Shou and Fan Yue passed them, but I'll always love Shaodian Youquin and Linguang Yetan.

I'm surprised that they had no kids at the end. They were so passionate, but I guess the writers didn't want to do that because they weren't married yet. I dunno.
