Fan Yue putting Bai Shou thru the exact same thing that Jing Yuan did 60,000 years before sacrificing himself to save the world was so upsetting. I mean I get why he did it. Someone had to and he did it to protect her. But Bai Shou had literally just watched him die twice in front of her, for him to come back then die again? yikes! I’m so glad that Bai Shou let him know how much him leaving her, hurt her. He deserved to know. Watching him get it and be heartbroken about causing her that pain again was growth. I’m sure he’ll never do it again.

In the end I thought all 4 would merge into two but they didn’t. I like the separate entities thing but I did want XY and JY to get their happy ending too. But alas I’ll believe those two stars were them.

I was rewatching eps 35-38 again because man those episodes stuck with me. Jing Yuan suffered a lot because of his love for Xing Yue but so did Xing Yue. That woman loved him so much that even with her sealing her love for him contemplation away in the stone she still loved him. She died loving him and waiting for him in the stars. I hope those two stars we saw in the sky was them reuniting. My heart breaks. while I believe that FY and BS love was not really influenced by JY and XY maybe a tiny part of it was. That's why Fan Yue and Bai Shou love each other so fiercely 60,000 years later.

I think he realized that both Fan Yue and Bai Shou loved each other as deeply & desperately as he and Xing Yue had in the past. If he can't be happy then at least one of his versions can be. He was happy with letting them be happy.

IKR? I think that's why he left his body to FY. He recognized that he loved BS in the same way. At least he would get to be happy. I hope JY and XY reunited in the stars.

they were beautiful. I have to praise her head piece too, so beautiful and intricate. Her head pieces in MM were some of my favorite parts of costumes.

MM. I liked TBL, but I could never get into it 100%. I dunno something was missing for me. And I disliked the ending.

Good thing that Heaven gave Fan Yue back to Bai Shou at the end. I think it was also a way of atoning for keeping Jing Yuan and Xing Yuan apart 60,000 years before. Their reincarnations get to be happy when the OG's couldn't.

MM. The ending was much better over there too.

to me MM's ending was much, much better than TBL's. I dropped FP so I don't know how that ended.

Yeah, I knew FL was going to die. There was just no way out for her after everything. Did I want her to die in the end??? no but I knew it would be tragic.

part of me wishes they would have aired that one first and then we could have had a palette cleanser with MM. But I think she filmed MM first so that had to go first.
