I'm happy that MM is doing so well in China and Southern Asia. Bai Lu is deeply loved I see. And she deserves it! Amazing actress. Ao Ruipeng got his big break with this role. He's getting the recognition he deserves and after MM, I'm sure he'll get even more roles. Like most do after their break thru.

I think that will be the turning point and the start of her "redemption"(which I wish they wouldn't do. Not all villains should be redeemed.) She's going to hate herself and what she became. Her mind will probably shatter.

XD the 2nd ML in TTEOM was as annoying as CZ yet LSS was very loyal to him. Often choosing him over TTJ ugh. Xiao Lin was his name.

I'm so glad that Bai Shou doesn't treat Chong Zhao like this admirable, victim puppy like a lot of the FL's do with the 2nd ML's. She cares about him(why????? beyond me but I guess it's that family bond). She tells him his truths and puts him in his place, doesn't put him above Fan Yue. Mu Xualing( The Blossoming Love) is another who is like this. So grateful that she's not like Li Susu in TTEOTM with the 2nd ML.

I think that's Xing Yue/Yue Mi not Bai Shou. There's no reason for her to act that way. She has even put her revenge on hold right now because she's so focused on saving him. The opening imo describes Yue Mi's sacrifice in this verse instead of what happened in ALP because of copyright.

Exactly, he's never protected her. All Chong Zhao does is talk but when comes down to it he always fails her. Like FY said he's useless in life and death situations. He just stands there with his mouth open and teary eyes.

All the contemplation arc couples parallel Fan Yue and Bai Shou so much. From Lilong and Riox Long to Chang Mei and Qi all of them have that “I love you more than my life.” Love just like FY and BS. But all have ended in tragedy. Surely that means that the mc won’t end up like that right? Right? Esp since they already have so much tragedy in their past life.

I love that about them. BS &FY are actually one of the few couples in xianxia who actually communicate and are extremely healthy. I love them so much.

Omg Chong Zhao stfu! It was you who put her in danger not Fan Yue. Fan Yue was just trying to have a romantic moment with his girl and you interrupt. Yet he still blames FY? I hate characters like him who never accept responsibility and blame others. Love, love how Bai Shou put him in his place. Fan Yue beating him up x2 was satisfying but he held back for Bai Shou’s sake.
