Gay people - which I am one of btw - and bl fans are never pleased. We finally have an actually high budget, good quality BL from South Korea and people want to focus on petty things. Look, the production decided to change the SECONDARY couple to a hetero one - probably since this series was originally intended for a larger streaming platform and wider audience. That fell through obviously, but that is most likely why they chose to do so. Now we don't have to agree with them doing that, but I do think we should try to understand. Also, at least they kept the BL couple in the series and kept them as the primary focus - unlike other drama productions that completely axed the BL/Gay elements. Wish you people would have kept this energy directed at those homophobic dramas - the most recent one of which is sitting at a 8.6 rating btw - while you people are here review bombing this to below an 8 for ridiculous reasons. Get your priorities straight - no pun intended - gays and girlies and get over it. Try to enjoy this actual BL drama and give it an honest chance.

Ok for instance the director was born in 1977 and is 48 this year. If his parents let’s say were born in the early 50s they would have been teens in the 60s and in their twenties in the 70s. So yea, that would be his parents generation.

Screenwriter and director seem to be in their 40s so for them this might indeed be their parents generation.

As someone who also usually has a lot of empathy for the falsely accused and finds it upsetting, I will say it is worth the watch! He gets his justice in the end. :)
