Let me clarify, the breadth of LGBT+ specific themes explored in this drama is new for East Asia. There has not been a production of this caliber in east or south east asia that has tried to so honestly and earnestly express gay life. What "BL" has touched on HIV for instance? Or conversion therapy? This is truly groundbreaking for that part of the world which is something that needs to be recognized and celebrated. Yes, there are a plethora of flaws one can identify in this drama but overall it is an important work to help bring LGBT+ issues to the mainstream in Korea and beyond.

Blah blah anyway this is a ground breaking GAY/lgbt series for East Asia that presents a lot of issues specific to gay people that the general public might not be aware of or understand. It also helps to humanize gay people and their struggles. So cliche to you but new to a lot of other people and an important work. Maybe go back to your Thai bls.

True... Go young wasn't ready to love or be loved. I think he still had a lot of hang ups and insecurities and felt maybe he didn't and couldn't be loved also (thanks internalized homophobia!).
