International platform?
unknown at this point, tving dramas usually go to viki all though some have been picked up by amazon. A lot of their queer dramas are picked up by iqiyi though.

did they cut them up weird for the international market? divided them and made two more eps? or is the ep count here just incorrect?

Have not seen the og but based on run time this will be an about half the length of the other series, so we shall see how they fit the series into a shorter time frame. I’m sure og fans will be upset that things are cut, but so is the reality of an adaption.

There are good kdramas that deal with familiar bonds also, so I’m sure it will be fine.
Jtbc, where this will air, does a lot of good family oriented dramas

Chinese dramas are really good at making heart-warming family stories, so I'm curious if the Korean remake will…

I’ve noticed that Korea generally likes to take the serial killer plot line (especially in movies) and take the action thriller route (instead of the thriller mystery or thriller crime or procedural crime drama route) and also sometimes imbue it with comedic elements (as is the case in this movie). Now, I guess I should have expected it to be a bit preposterous since the premise itself is but I guess I did expect something a bit more… serious. This might be a good fit for some but if you are like me and like this kind of subject matter to be handled in a more serious tone then I am not sure you will enjoy it very much. Putting this one on hold.

We might have had to have a 2nd straight couple for this to get oked or something and honestly I am ok with that,…
People seriously love to complain lmao be happy this show is even seeing the light of day, it has taken FOREVER.
On Heesu in Class 2 Sep 6, 2024
We might have had to have a 2nd straight couple for this to get oked or something and honestly I am ok with that, as long as our main couple is Heesu and Seung Won. Count your blessings people, this is a BIG step for Korean BL.

At first was happy that Nam Yoon got a bl and I thought his fans were too, but I got sudden whiplash after reading…
The comments are mainly coming from a few areas of the globe - one of them is not a prominent market for Korean content anyway while the other one is. I think this is good though, it stimulates conversation for fans in those countries which might help them to slowly change their mind. Anyway, I wish this drama much success!

There's nothing wrong with being concerned. Cancel culture in Korea is pretty bad and many actors suffer from…
Idk what that has to do with what I stated, he and the other actors in this drama will be fine. Recently we have had plenty of actors who have taken on BL roles and have had no trouble getting work after. Korea is not as anti gay as a lot of you seem to think it is.

Y'all. To my recollection in the past 25 years not a single South Korean actor has been canceled for doing a gay…
Indeed, Korea might not be as accepting as most western nations when it comes to LGBT people but it's not like it's illegal there or career ending anymore. Most of the youth in Korea, which is who this drama would be aimed at anyway, are actually pretty accepting (or at least tolerant) of LGBT people - it's mainly the very old in Korea who are anti-gay/LGBT.

Holy, are we going to get a glimpse of gay culture in Korea with this drama? Not just for the straight females?…
Yes, it will depict actual gay/queer life in Seoul. Idk why it says through her perspective but we shall see, in the book it is Go Yeong's perspective.

Midway through, honestly haven't been this excited about a show in along while. While there are some parts that…
Also one of the most likable casts too, which is unusual. I think it goes to show you don't always need a "villain" on reality tv for the show to be good. It really makes you root for them!

Midway through, honestly haven't been this excited about a show in along while. While there are some parts that don't hit, overall I think it's pretty amazing and the cast are great. Idc what any of the miserable people in the comments claiming it's "overrated" say, for me Shun and Dai are one of the best pairings in a dating show I have seen. They really add a lot to the series. I really wish them success in love and life. Not overrated at all for those wondering, you will enjoy it! It has a very pleasant tone to it unlike a lot of other dating series but still brings the drama to keep it interesting.

Talented and fine af, I guess he kind of does have a villains face but hopefully he gets more diverse roles soon!

Some people expecting way too much for a teen thriller/horror short form web series… if you take it for what it is it’s not too bad! I’m about halfway through though so we shall see how it ends.

Major spoiler, tag it as such
You should have the decency to tag it since it gives away the ending
