Well I finished it and I enjoyed it despite its flaws. It was thrilling and exciting to me so it did its job!

Not opposed to covering harsh truths when it comes to history, but insinuating the Japanese conducted experiments on Koreans in Korea when they did not is disingenuous. Fantasy genre or not - it paints a false narrative to the general public. Did the Japanese conducts experiments on people, most of them being Chinese? Yes. Did they conduct experiments on people in peninsular Korea? No evidence they did. This guy is just stirring the pot at this point.

Really great first two eps, can’t wait to see how it unfolds.

Hoping this goes to amazon for international release- they pick up some tving series - since it would reach more people, a lot of queer/bl dramas from tving end up on iqiyi which would not have as big a reach. I think this drama has the appeal to be a bigger hit internationally though so I hope a bigger distributor wants it. We shall see.
