Ok Finally I have finished, I am amazed by the character Zhuang Shi Yang by actor Yu En Tai. What an actor to…
πππ"One thing i must complain is his hair do.... atrocious!! that wide and hanging bun on his head... it looked like he got the wrong hair piece...some old lady's sloppy bun.....lol!!!" No wonder I found something wrong but couldn't tell. You're spot on π€£π€£π€£
If you watched this drama and liked the social commentary, the questioning of social rules and the place of women…
I believe why not many viewers watched this drama Marvelous Women, was because it was set in Qing Dynasty. Many viewers don't like pig tails, including me :D
Why was the ML Fu Yunxi so angry with her after she returned from the Palace? Even choking her when he already…
The screen writer doesn't want to spoon feed the audience. For viewers who are familiar with how ancient Chinese Palace politics work, they would understand Fu Yunxi's action. But yes, I agree with you that the writer should have made it clearer for viewers who need explanations :)
Yushan is a fool, and writers are too. Wdym you are letting the horse go free like that!? What will happen to…
I think there's a plot hole here somewhere, because the horse was still in the stable when she needed it (towards the end if you haven't reached that part yet :D)
Is the ML's child his biological child or adopted, and was he in love with her sister?
From my understanding, ZHY was supposed to marry FYX even before she was born. But then she was sent away, so her half-sister took ZHY's place in marrying FYX. This is an arranged marriage, so don't think there's any romance type of love. But they do have a daughter who FYX loves a lot. So I guess, it's kind of like most marriages in real life, that the couple doesn't need to love each other to have children. It's more like a responsibility kind of "love".
It's sad that Xi Wen has to die such a horrible death, but it's necessary. This is to create the hatred inside ZHY and her determination for vengence. Without this rage, it's impossible to kil her own father who gave her life in the first place. This is also a way to justify her actions.
I thought it was possible for some form of happiness for her mother and true lover, but what did I expect watching…
Look at it this way: this is to set the scene how evil the father is, and to justify ZHY's eventual taking down of the father who gave her life. Her mother is her final straw. If the mother hadn't died, ZHY would not be mad enough to want the father dead because no one is more important than her mother.
Zhuang Shi Yang is so good in disguising himself. In meeting with the young men coming to ask for ZHY's hand, he seems so clueless, kind of simple, and easy going.
No wonder I found something wrong but couldn't tell. You're spot on π€£π€£π€£
