As for this drama, I did notice in some of the scenes, he didn't look right, but I can't remember which scenes; it's not important anymore because The Glory is such an enjoyable drama 😊

FL doesn't need to do much. The maids get their karma quite early. The concubine almost gets murdered and FL saves her, so she becomes FL's ally at around ep 26.

Wait till you read the novel, it's even more absurb. In the novel, Hanyan was 12 years old and she has started scheming. Her brother was only 11 when he was accused of fighting over a prostitute in a brothel and killed someone.

Many viewers probably expected a romance with kisses all that. There's none here. The positive comments you read here are probably from viewers who like the darkside of the characters and can empathize with the characters' rage. 😊

Generally his acting is fine. There're only a few scenes, he looks a bit, er.... , out of place with his expressions and eye movement. Very minute and unnoticeable probably, but still, some discerning viewers noticed and pointed out 🧐

What her mother has been doing is just a front to protect fl. The mother has a plan and she doesn't want fl to get involved and get hurt. So don't take things on the surface; there's more to it.

Oh, don't give up. Don't be put off by those characters because even Hanyan wasn't. Those are just like annoying flies with very simple minds especially with Yushan. Her motive was just to be married to Yunxi, that's all she had wanted, and I'm not surprised she felt that way because she had spent more time with Yunxi than Hanyan had, so her simple mind told her that she had more "right" to be Yunxi's next wife. These people are just the side show. Look at the grander scheme which is very interesting.

Yushan has a redemption in the last few episodes. So do continue! 🙂

If you're already upto episode 21, you've come a long way, don't give up now. For me, the biggest hurdle is over now that they're together. She's taking steps to take her revenge and he's helping her. In a way, he's also helping himself because he needs to get the villain too. The joint-hand episodes are pretty good and I have enjoyed watching them 😊
