One little factual error: Li Yikang was not the emperor but acting as regent for the Emperor who was also his brother (the Emperor was in poor health at that time). This fact, seemingly unimportant, is pivotal to how the story unfolds (especially in the last half of the drama), and it (Li Yikang being not the emperor) affects the overall plot. The ultimate power goes back to the actual Emperor Wen (Liu Yilong). Hope this makes the story clearer.
