This is my go-to drama after watching all the other pull-out-my-hair ones. Really funny, well written and acted.

Let's see how Mowan is going to save Ye Junqing from being executed, probably by some far-fetched miracles. Just hope I don't roll my eyes so much.

While watching episodes 23 and 24, the same questions I was asking myself. Nonetheless, I know I'd have to reduce my intelligence to just 'accept' whatever that's thrown at me, or else, I may eat a mouse here.

I like him better here than in Princess Silver :) He's so funny and looks very good here.

Surprisingly this turns out to be a rather enjoyable watch. This is the lightest non-comedic historical drama that involves palace politics. The 4 main leads are adorable, including the Emperor who is busy match-making.

Since this is a story romanticizing the historical figures and there is no tragedy tag here, I suspect the drama is taking the direction as in Secret of Three Kingdoms where the Empress feigns her death and escapes the palace to live with her love and HEA. Thereafter it's smooth sailing for the Emperor to marry the older sister and make her his Empress, just as told in the actual historical event.

Talking about badasses, which drama is that on your profile with the swing kick? That's professionally done (the kick)! Looks Korean to me, like taekwondo :)

I love Du Lei's character. So tormented. He has no hope with Jiang Jun. I just hope he eventually sees the one that has loved him all these years, his so-called sister. Hopefully she changes for the better and eventually he falls in love with her.
