In I've Fallen For You, the Chinese characters used in Zhao Cuo's name have the homophone with the meaning "wrong anyway", whereas his father's name Zhao Juan Dui literally means, "All correct" :D

Like you, I love dissecting all these characters' names used in Chinese dramas. Some of them are simply hilarious like those in Joy of Life and I've Fallen You. The play of the characters and their homophones is intriguing :D
This series is getting better and sweeter. By episode 26:
- Dai Rui-er sleeps with Song Zhi, and return to Li's Manor - They expose Xiong Xiruo's faked pregnancy and have her kicked out - But Xiong Xiruo is now actually pregnant (she doesn't know it herself yet), for real this time - She's a princess and only Song Zhi knows it
That line is very thin especially in those times: a wife is obligated to the husband. No matter how unwilling she may be, it is seen as her duty to please the husband. Denying the husband may trigger his wrath which I think Mingyu wants to avoid.
Episode 36 - The Emperor was put in a dilemma, save wanyin or mingyu. Honestly, this was such a sad moment, since…
I don't really think it's a dilemma at all; it's pretty obvious that he should save Mingyu and not Wanyin because Mingyu is being poisoned whereas the latter wants to kill herself. Logically he should save the one who wants to live and abandon the one who doesn't.
This is one of those dramas where:A. You're a masochist and love the pain that comes with these kinds of storylinesORB.…
Guess I belong to group A i.e. I like to be tortured (nah, not really). This story feels like what it would have happened in real life - there's no HEA and things keep happening not as planned. Nonetheless, most historical dramas released these days are very light-hearted and fairytale like, whereas this one is heavy and realistic. I guess that's why I am sticking with it despite the hopelessness and helplessness I'm experiencing in almost every episode.
Seems like all the historicals we're watching are heading down the same path. All 3 of them!
Hahaha! Not really all 66. Just place there wanting to watch but never get the chance to because so many new releases almost everyday. I like watching airing dramas because the discussions are active. Old dramas tend to be very quiet. I don't like watching by myself :D Guess I'm going to shelve some of the dramas for now so that my list doesn't look so crazy XD
Oh, they should also eventually unravel what leads to Wanyin's death. A bit of unrealistic detective work here, not surprisingly Mingyu would become the Sherlock Holmes.
I wonder if they ever find out the actual culprit for the death of Xiao Qiheng (Helan Wanyin's baby). Maybe it'll come as a karma on Shu Fei's (Consort Shu's) own child.
- Crown Prince (Helan Wanyin's baby) dies of allergy - Helan Wanyin dies in her own hands - Xiao Chengxu may have softened in his revenge - The Emperor's health is deteriorating
- They expose Xiong Xiruo's faked pregnancy and have her kicked out
