I don't want the romance to start so soon. I want to watch more of SCC transforming into another character that TQ falls in love with again. Imagine him falling in love with a man, like Quan Sheng Tang, and he (TQ) begins to question his own sanity. It's going to be so hilarious! Remember, people are not so fragile. So don't be fragile for them. 😁😂😄😉

I agree. Tang Qi can't articulate very well. He didn't actually mean Su Cheng Cheng is ugly, but everyone misunderstands him. With him falling in love with Fang Jin, we know he doesn't look at the face.

You're correct about Su Cheng Cheng seems to feel nicer when she turns into a different character. However, I do like the original Su Cheng Cheng because I find her, though a bit silly, fearless and very compassionate. She somehow likes to mother Tang Qi in private that could have made her looks imposing and authoritative. In public, she seems to try to run away from him asap. But hey, we would probably be imposing as well if we meet such a wimpy man as in Tang qi 😀😎

I think both you and @nathsketch are correct in your POVs. I feel that Tang Qi was totally misunderstood by Su Cheng Cheng when he said, "so ugly". He didn't actually mean she is ugly but he's bad in articulating how he feels at that moment. To me, I think he meant to say, the make-up is bad (it's running all over her face) because it is not the type he is trying to sell. That's why he is so hard working in researching and inventing better make-up.
