The only thing he's done wrong (or right?) is falling in love for someone that keeps hurting him, again and again.

Though romance is not the main feature here in this drama, the few scenes of Ling Xiao and Li Jianjian being together is enough to warm our hearts.

Oh boy, episode 14 turns out to be bitches fighting bitches. No wonder the rating drops so much.

IKR! Every touch by that man is dirty. Can't imagine she can still go back to Ye Junqing after this. However, knowing him, don't think he would mind even if she's been impregnated. He just loves her so much and would accept everything about her. That's why it makes the viewers feel he's been so unfairly treated and our hearts are all out for him :C

Depending which episode you're on right now. You may change your mind later :)

These are all so cliche: "... I do this for your own good ...", "... I love you so much that I need to hurt you ...." blah, blah, blah. These happen in almost all c-dramas. Sigh! Can't the writers think of something else?

I'm not passionate about snakes but for once I like them because of what they've done :(

Good but also painful.

So the kidnapping is a ruse, to bring down Madam Dou. Darn! Her words are cruel and hurting. She still enters the palace and becomes a concubine :( That poor little male servant now becomes an eunuch. The intimate scene with the Emperor is hard to watch. Snakes break up the consummation. Now I love snakes.

Episode 13:

Wedding messed up by antagonists; she's being kidnapped and her name destroyed.

For once, I appreciate the antagonists.

Episode 12:

Poor Ye Junqing. In his heart, he must be thinking why he's being emotionally cheated (well, in a way) by both Yao's sisters, and these sisters only want power and prestige.

- Yao Mowan finds out she's Yao Moxin
- First passionate kiss
- She leaves Ye Jun Qing for her revenge
- Ye Jun Qing is devastated

Darn! These writers must be going through mid-life crisis.

Episode 11 is hard to watch:

Yeah, same here. I'm watching so many titles concurrently that I'm running the risk of not remembering what has happened in each one and getting them all mixed up :(

No, she didn't turn against him. She saved him from a disaster. But Xiao Qihan saw Ling Zhen Er in the camp (it's forbidden) and came to verify with her, and overheard by a concubine who went to the Emperor. Bad, bad, bad. I'm sick to my stomach but I still want to watch.
