Despite things looking up by the end of episode 18, it's still hard to watch the latest 2 episodes.

Things are looking up from hints after today's episodes - 17 and 18. So it's not doom and gloom anymore, though there'll still be a lot of obstacles.

I was worried that Helan Mingyue may cave in and become intimate with Xiao Chengrui. But after her encounter with the Xi Qi, I don't think she would ever have a baby with Xiao Chengrui anymore. The baby has to come from somewhere, so I guess from the sister she rescues.

That no good of a sister Helan Wanyin who is in love with Xiao Chengrui, marries him, and gives birth to Xiao Qiyuan, and then both husband and wife die. Helan Mingyu is left with the kid and raises him as her own, so the kid thinks she's his birth mother. Helan Mingyu maintains her relationship with Xiao Chengxu, and Xiao Qiyuan doesn't like it until he finds out later, and allows the lovers to be together, and live happily ever after. The end! That would make my day.

So far in the story, it hasn't described what this 4 Lohan is or how it looks like. I guess our FL has no idea too. All she could think of is what she hears - 4 luǒ hàn (naked men), and if you notice, she's taken aback a little when the female assassin mentions it. That's why it's so hilarious. In addition, I don't mind the naked men at all. They're all eye candy XD XD XD

Someone mentioned here that Xiao Yan has bad make-up. Apart from her white-washed face, I think I figure out what is wrong with her: her lower eye lashes are super long. She looks almost like those figurines drawn by children with eye lashes around the eyes. No wonder I feel so uncomfortable looking at her.

I love Xiao Yan in The Legends, but I can't connect with her in this series. When she's damn mad, her eyes are still smiling; when she's sad, she's still smiling. Like you said, she's not synchronizing with the situations. It really feels weird for me too.

Seeing how things are developing, pretty sure it's going to be a happy ending :D

I find it hilarious because it's a misunderstanding of her mission: she's been commissioned to get the picture of the 4 Lohan but because of the female assassin's accent, our FL mistakes it for 4 naked men which has the same homophone in Chinese. For 2000 coins, I'd do it too! XD
