I haven't watched this week episodes. Waiting until tomorrow to watch them in batch. Did the misery already started?Well,…
No, I don't want to see him in rom-com neither. He's kind of quiet and serious and hard to imagine him in rom-com, but I maybe surprised. Nonetheless, the misery has already started long ago when she gets married; it continues on ...., no foreseeable ending. As it is, it takes a miracle to have a happy ending. Having said that, I may get a shoe stuck in my mouth :D

EXACTLY! That's why we need him in a rom-com!!!
Dang! My assumption is right! He must have something that directors see in him, so they always choose him for roles like this.

Oh, I get it. It's done on purpose with the accent, so that she's being misinterpreted. It's hilarious XD

Heh... I was debating this - I think Lusi is funny boring (as in she plays the same kind of funny in everything)…
Yeah, I liked the first 2 episodes, but then the jokes become stale. They keep using back the same thing and I find it unbearable to continue. I do like the ML, but again, same jokes, same actions, same dialogues.

Why is Cheng Yi always being chosen for such miserable roles? In Noble Aspirations, he loses all his cultivation and has to relearn everything from the beginning. He's so devastated and so painful to watch. In L&R, needless to say, he vomits blood in every episode and gives us all emotional distress. Now here in this drama, it feels even more hopeless. Does he have that kind of a face that directors like to use him to act all these miserable roles?

It's mentioned that the show has 46 episodes while i could only find 40 episodes on both youtube as well as viki.…
Both versions are the same in content, the difference is in the cut. The version that has more episodes (eg. on TV), has shorter episode each; the version that has fewer episodes (eg. on YouTube), has longer episode each.

Your parents and grandma are not very much different from most Asian parents - finding faults in their kids, guilt-tripping, seeking face among friends and relatives (hence bragging), comparing, etc. I've seen so many and my own parents were no exception. I just feel very sad because our parents grow old fast, and all their misdeeds become so insignificant now.

Exactly! That's how I feel about all these parents too. Our own parents or someone in the family are similar to one of these characters or a combination of them. They like to use the guilt-trip method to rein us in, saying things like, how hard it had been for them so that they could provide for us today etc. We all know what they have done for us, but we don't want them to keep harping on it to make us feel guilty. That's why I cannot hate Chen Ting despite I cannot stand her because I'm seeing her in my own family too.
