Thanks so much! Yes, I can see Feng Cheng Jun and Lei Ao have feelings for her. They fight over her all the time, despite they still think she's a boy; unconsciously they're just attracted to her.

Watching episode 7. I'm so confused. She is fearless, she's not even scared of the powerful general whom she thinks is a serial killer, and yet she is so frightened of the prince whom she's supposed to marry.

I feel he (Yu Le Xuan) likes Wen Bin, but not romantically. He has seen Wen Bin's talent even before the Academy, so he respects Wen Bin for what she has been doing against all odds. Being a very sensitive person who can read between the lines, he also feels that Wen Bin is romantically fond of Feng Cheng Jun. Therefore, time and time again, he tries to put the two together subtly.

Lei Zexin on the other hand is different. They know each other well. They tell each other their inner thoughts. They're like soul mate to each other but they don't show it to the public, especially to Han because Yu Le Xuan tries to stay in the Han's circle. I don't feel they have any romance between them except brotherhood and strong friendship.

Anyone who has read the novel or watched the Korean version, is the Yu Le Xuan character in love with Wen Bin?

I can see Zheng Ye Cheng has been building some muscles. Despite what he showed behind the scenes (like green face and puffing), he's pretty comfortable carrying our FL with no effort at all on screen.

Yeah, I wish the writer were more sadistic like me. I was hoping Shen Leqing got hunted down like an animal, frightened, hungry and ugly, and then cut into 1,000 pieces by everyone that she had hurt. Instead, she died whole, pretty with an untarnished face. Not fair!

Love the Xu Zhan character. So loyal and protective. Love his dynamics with San Bao.

Are you sure it's Song Wei Long's acting and not the character he's playing? Feng Cheng Jun is supposed to be a dull (boring) bookworm. So he cannot be as flamboyant as Yu Le Xuan, or as cold and stone heart as the ill-tempered Lei Ao. Song Wei Long's honest bookworm look fits his character perfectly.

So true, and with their loose and layered clothing, it's indeed very hard to tell if it's a feminine body or not unless someone's so pervert to look very intently at every inch of the body. Having said that, the boys did notice that Wen Bin's legs have no hair, like a girl's, they commented. But knowing boys, even when a girl wearing a new hairstyle, they wouldn't have noticed most of the time :D

LOL! Bing Kun's cohorts' action is so expected especially for people who want to win no matter what. It happens all the time, all over the world. This is very relatable to most viewers, perhaps that's why no one mentions it, because it's so common :)

I don't understand why some people are having issues with cross-dressing here. In the old days (in fact still today in many parts of the world), girls were not allowed to go to school even when they are smarter than most boys. In this drama, it is a crime for girls to enter Yun Shang Academy, punishable by death. Therefore, it's pretty logical to see that no one in their wildest dream would suspect Wen Bin a girl; everyone just assumes that 'he' is malnourished (since he has come from an impoverished family) and has stunted growth, which is not at all surprising. As far as makeup is concerned, everyone has makeup in dramas including all the men. Why is it such an issue? Sure Wen Bin has boobs but she's not voluptuous. Using Ju Jing Yi for this character is a perfect choice.

I feel The Song of Glory is a lot better than Royal Nirvana in terms of mental torture (less) as the former does get it reprisals whereas the latter hardly.

I love the archery competition. It's so good... and I love the Wen Bin's character .. petite, yet strong and determined. I'm so glad that they use Ju Jing Yi as Wen Bin. I think she's perfect. She really exudes that charisma that attracts everybody. No wonder most of the boys are on her side.
