I know how you feel. This drama is so intense that a short break every 3 or 4 episodes would do us all a world…
LOL! My reason for watching so many dramas these days ....

Just started watching and I guess judging by the other comments it's gonna get bad lol but I'll deal with that…
This is a pretty enjoyable drama for me because it's silly, light, and doesn't need too much brain power to figure things out (though some parts are confusing). Despite there are tons of flaws, the chemistry of the ML and FL is pretty good. The ML character really stands out and Li Hong Yi has done quite a great job.

Personally, I hope, they'll keep Xie Hao alive till the end. I really love Li Sheng Yu in this role. He has this…
Pigtail dramas are painful for me to watch too (haven't watched all those Yanxi Palace, Scarlet Heart etc despite everyone says they're good). But I'll make this (Heroes) an exemption since it's recommended by you :)

Second that. Thatcher was so conservative, and Merkel is open minded. I love Merkel. Wish we have more female leaders like this.

A bit of a non-sequitur but given some earlier discussions, we should all know the hazards of eye rolling:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tszidfq32DQ
OMG! I die laughing. Thanks for the video.

Top 2 for me are Prince Jing Ling and Lu Yuan's sister.
Yep! Most likely. Even San Bao can become an unwitting accomplice.

That's so true. By right, he should be on Peng Cheng Wang's side because his sister is married to him. But on the other hand, he's also scheming against Peng Cheng Wang because of his implementation of meritocracy, eroding the power of the aristocrats. Therefore, he must maintain a neutral hard to read face, and Li Sheng Yu has done it.

Title The Song of Glory Spoiler
Finally Lu Yuan is dead, mother consort is banished. But still some loose strings remain - Xie Hao, Shen Leqing, Xue Qiu, the mysterious man. And then, still a bunch of those turncoats-to-be.

Got a bit busy today and had no time to watch the new episodes. I'm gonna hop on my treadmill and walk my way…
Great idea! Both brain and body exercise.

Is this those kind of historic drama that have toxic love triangle?
Kind of.

Do you think there's a possibility of second season? Cause it'll be super absurd to try and finish everything…
Wow! From 60 to less than half? This is going to be a shoddy ending for sure! Thanks for the info. Never known this (about the 60 episodes).

Makes a lot of sense. Thanks!

some government drama sprinkled in? yessss. i love that stuff
Historically, for the Liu Yikang character, there was a lot of politics and power struggle. Probably not in this drama, but in real life he ended tragically.

I don't know what is going on, but she later becomes Prince Jin as according to the cast list? Does that mean she marries into the royal family?
