It's really frustrating that many Chinese dramas may have terrific beginnings, but with really badly written endings. I'm not talking about sad endings, but endings with all loose strings, and things are not concluded properly. What a messy ending for this one. Drop my rating from 9.0 to 8.5. It would have been lower if it's not because I've enjoyed watching Li Hongyi here so much. What a waste on these actors.
The actions of the people are getting very confusing: when it's supposed to be serious, they act funny and silly, when it's supposed to be light-hearted, they talk as if their mothers are dead. Their dialogues are shallow and not matching to the situations. I'm getting really confused. After 26 episodes, I still can't feature out if I'm supposed to feel sad when someone dies or lovers are separated, or laughed when the fearsome person is actually not that scary.
I LOVE this drama. The best of 2020 so far IMO. I pray it lasts.Love the fact that the lead actors are more mature…
I've watched up to Episode 12. I can tell you this: it's still very good. The plot is tight, the acting is amazing, the dynamics are great. All in all, this is a wonderful drama so far. But with 53 episodes, I hope they don't stuff in too many fillers to reach that target.
I don't. I'm just guessing. But she has a natural bondage with the mother and brothers. It's said that blood is thicker than water, and mothers can identify their babies by instinct. Her mother seems to be that type of women - instinctive and very intelligent.
I have watched ep 18 to 24 on raw and my chinese non existence. However I thought it may be about 5 to 7 years…
By the end of the story, I feel we just have to look passed everything and move on because there's not much point to make sense of anything anymore; it's just plain bad screen writing. Luckily we all enjoy the same parts - Jiao Yang's and Lin Miao's relationship and the moments they share together. Li Hongyi is absolutely hilarious and adorable here :D
I still can't shake Qin Hao's image in The Bad Kids off my mind. Every time I see Liu Yi Kang, I see Zhang Dong…
I hear you. Talking about tragic ending, you should watch Goodbye My Princess. But for The Song of Glory, it doesn't have that kind of sad feelings. So I'm betting it's going to be a HEA ending.
BTW, Princess Agents's ending is not tragic; it's just 'open'. They're supposed to come out with season 2.
Okay I have watched the Trailer for the umpteenth time and Can't seem to shake the thought, This will have a Sad…
I still can't shake Qin Hao's image in The Bad Kids off my mind. Every time I see Liu Yi Kang, I see Zhang Dong Sheng (The Bad Kids). Heck! Really spoiling it for me :(
Do start with this series. It's amazingly good. I love it!
She came back soon means what happened I didn't get it... could please be clr!!! Then what happened wht abt male…
Maybe you're right about Ying Jun's son; I think I missed that one because I saw only his wife being pregnant, so I assumed it's only for months. Yeah, it could have been years instead. But the confusion is why Lin Miao suddenly becomes an author and that has pulled my attention away from the other people.
She came back soon means what happened I didn't get it... could please be clr!!! Then what happened wht abt male…
She returns to her universe by the end of 3 months. Just a few months later, she comes back to Jiao Yang's universe. That means she is still 33 or older and Jiao Yang is 25 or so. Her other self still exists but has kind of left town. And then she is into writing and publishes a book. What a mess. From start to finish, there's never any mention that she likes writing and is good at it. All of a sudden, she becomes an author ?????? Very lazy writing by the screen writer.
BTW, Princess Agents's ending is not tragic; it's just 'open'. They're supposed to come out with season 2.
