Her plans and schemes are silly and really stupid, but somehow, the Prince is even more stupid, making the drama fun to watch :)

Episode 20, Jin Yan tells Xiao Yu of her dreams and she mentions she dreams Wen Su Yu marries to him. Why hasn't Xiao Yu detected the change of name, ie. it's Wen Su Yu who has married to him and not Wen Su Jin? Is this a flaw in scriptwriting?

Now I want the boy ghost back. That's the excitement though I was freaking out then.

You know what, they may just create a miracle for him. Remember Su Xuan when everyone thinks he has no cure because Zhuo Qingci used one of the ingredients to save Su Yun Luo? Well, turns out he can fix him (Su Xuan) with his own poisonous blood. So, maybe someone else's (like Zhu Yan's) blood can fix him too. Who knows. Dramas like this don't need too much logic :)

They (the scriptwriter and director) have so much built-up for the mysterious heroes but once they're revealed they kill them off. WTF!

Yeah, I've almost forgotten about the Emperor, Ai Di, and Wei Ning Hou. Chinese drama scriptwriters are really experts in turning a potential good drama into a wimp :(

Stabbed in the heart, then presumably carried for days back to Zheng Yang Palace, and thrown into a well (I guess Zhuo Qingci must have given him something to stop his heart to feign death), then have his disciple to save him. But I still mourn for Xie Li, Mu Lin and Shang Wan. All these great heroes are like tortoises, living so long, only to die once they are exposed T_T

Can't stop thinking about his narcissism and burst out laughing. He's just so funny and adorable!

This drama deserves a higher rating than the current 7.8.

Chen Jing Ke (ML)'s acting is good, he's young and hot. A lot of potential!

IKR! Despite all the tropey and cliche stuff, I just can't stop watching and waiting anxiously for the release of new episodes.

You're so right - one is like a brainless freak and the other receiving all the blows with no real complaints. It's simply hilarious and adorable!

Mindless sacrifices of all the Da Xia (big heroes) T_T

I guess that's because Xiao Qian is the author, so she has full control of the direction of the novel/script she's writing (though the story develops on its own), and Han Shuo is only a character of her writing. Anyway, I doubt there's any actual logic to the whole story. We can just take it how ever we want to :)

I agree about the ratings. Many viewers rate according to their emotions, I'm no exception. I rate dramas based on how I feel while I'm watching them. I don't really have a set criteria to give points to, therefore, my ratings may not be exactly objective. I give a drama high rating if it stirs up my emotions in its story and acting even if it has poor CGI and plot holes, and a low rating if it frustrates me in plot and logic. So yeah, don't really trust the ratings here unless they are based on objective criteria.
