Actually I found all the deaths gratuitous. In the whole drama, I only cried when Ai di died.
This is quite consistent how they treat all the mysterious heroes - they would kill them off quite effortlessly as soon as the heroes appear on screen. I don't know why they're holding a grudge against these poor heroes.
Well, we'd never know if he's totally cured or his life is extended for a few more years. However, it's indicated…
That's so true about chickening out in killing Qingci because a lot of viewers just can't take it. I remember in Goodbye My Princess, it was a tragic ending and the rating went down and many viewers just wouldn't watch it. The rating for that particular drama was based on happy or tragic ending. Unfair but true.

That's one thing that really baffles me - why should Ai Di die because he's been hidden away all these years? Can't they just hide him again and feign his death? No one knows anyway whether he dies or not. No one even knows how he looks like except Yun Luo and Qingci.
What in the world was the last episode? What happened on Wen Si Yuan's end of the finale? How the hell did Qing…
Well, we'd never know if he's totally cured or his life is extended for a few more years. However, it's indicated that with Yun Luo who would go to all extent to find a cure for him, just like what she does for her shifu for 10 years, it's assumed that she manages that for Qingci too.
Like all Chinese dramas, they are weak with the final episodes. But comparatively, this one is still better done.
OMG! The last few episodes are tear jerking. I cry like a baby! Shoot! Not supposed to cry in a wuxia but, golly! this is so good - wuxia mixes with heart wrenching romance.
Are we supposed to hate Mo Huan? But she's my most favorite character. I wish they have developed her character more. She's supposed to be very evil and atrocious, but instead, I see humanity in her. Am I so screwed?
i think per previews they will know their identities until they get married bridal night lol
It also reminds me of The Legend of Jin Yan, but the couples are incomparable - this pair here is intelligent whereas the pair in The Legend of Jin Yan are a couple of cute idiots :D

Yeah, I figure that's what will happen - finding out about each other on their wedding. Just that, they're supposed to be intelligent people and yet, after so many encounters with each other and everyone knows about their real identities, except these two of each other. It's just a bit unrealistic but what am I complaining about? It's drama :)
Oh of course it is signature Mei Changsu... no other character has the right to copy it IMHO!!! Our lead in this…
Hahaha! I wonder how that should look like - oh I am so sick I am gonna die soon outfit. BTW, they make it slightly different with some ombre here. But still white with fur collars because they all have hanji (cold feats). They really need more imagination. I'll give them time :)
Don't really see where you are coming from... may I ask which episodes/incidents specifically make you laugh when…
All of them, from the beginning. I really don't know if I were supposed to feel sad when, say, Rong Hua tries to kill herself (because I don't). Or happy, like when Rong Jing Feng doesn't get his way (I don't because there's nothing to be happy about). I don't know if I'm supposed to like Mo Huan or hate her. Everyone says she's evil including Na Lan Yue but she also saves all of them. Why would one want to hate anyone if he/she saves you? It's just so confusing. No wonder the rating is dropping.
SPOILER!They won't gonna know each other's real identities until the wedding night when she stabs him.
IKR! Nothing is perfect. There's always something. Despite all these eye rolls, this is still the best so far - I'm getting sleepy with Love a Lifetime, and I fell asleep on And the Winner is Love (so crappy).
