Is that really the alternative ending? I thought it's the hint for a next season run. Towards the very end, an unidentified person with scars on his hand said, "I definitely will not let you leave me." The face was not shown, but pretty sure he's Su Fu.

Another silly chinese drama, drop it after watching ep 1
Can't set too high standard, otherwise you can't find many dramas to watch. This one is not as bad as the others, just a couple annoying characters. The leads are not perfect but pretty good, and the drama is not totally silly either. If you want the good, pretty serious stuff, check out Nirvana in Fire.
