For those who finished this what are your thoughts on this drama?
I've watched 24 episodes, so far so good. The story is interesting, acting is good. Yu Meng Long's acting is a bit stiff, but apart from that, everyone else's acting is pretty good.
Just started this series, and am already loving it. Love the 2 main leads, Sun Li and Luo Jin, they are real veterans, solid acting. The story depicts real life in Shanghai. Worth watching.
There's no boy/girl type of romance, there aren't any boy/boy kissing scenes too. Your first impression may be just simply a soulmate type of relationship. Worth watching because there's a lot of life lessons. It is very beautiful. cute, happy and painful, helping you go through all your emotions. The OSTs are perfect. Watch a couple of episodes on the Special Edition. If you like it, you should watch the original version instead.
It's really refreshing to watch a totally different emperor/maidservant dynamic. There're no "the high-ups and the low-downs"; emperor and maidservant are equal. Nice!

Yeah, but both Lu Yi in the drama and Ren Jialun show the same calmness when facing an opponent. My heart was stolen by him when I saw the intent in his eyes when he faced his opponent in one of the older Happy Camp episodes, how calm and unfazed he was when his opponent tried to attack him (by pushing him down). So cool headed. Hard to find.

Watching a well loved drama together with like-minded viewers is the most enjoyable thing, and I wish you had joined us during those amazing months in Summer 2019. Every episode was dissected and discussed, every emotion and expression were analyzed and zoomed-in, every BTSs were watched and relished, thousands of mashups, fan-fics, fan-vids were created. We comforted each other how to move on after this drama; many didn't want to move on, comfortable to remain in this rabbit hole together. Those were the best times which I, and many others, still reminisce until today. So, I'd have to say, if I had not been together with this group of amazing Suibians (The Untamed fans), I might have felt exactly how you're feeling now, wondering if I'm missing something. Have no fear, if you have time, go read up some of the posts in the Discussion section. That's where we try to keep important information so that it doesn't get buried here in the forum. Have fun!

Yes, so true about how AvenueX judges a drama. I do follow her occasionally, and I find myself not agreeing with her on taste as far as dramas are concerned. Some dramas she rated high (such as The Eternal Love 1 & 2), for me they're just .. meh, though I like Liang Jie's acting a lot.
Though I try to ignore rating, I'd have to admit I do use it to vet through the dramas I want to watch because there are just too many. For me, I'd skip anything below an 8, especially for the archived dramas.
