I relish this drama, fillers or not, every moment is so funny, even the supposedly bad guys are funny too. Make me laugh so much.
I keep thinking, what if they didn't make the switch, Qing Kui would marry You Qin, and Ye Tan meets Chao Feng who wants to kill her. The first pair could be quite boring to watch because they are all good and proper, but the second pair may give us the end of the world, fighting like hell. Does the novel say they switch back when they discover the mistakes?
The plot is so far nice and engaging, but I honestly do not find the ML attractive/hairstyle doesn't suit him…
You know what? I feel Chen Xingxu has that kind of look that doesn't catch one's eyes immediately. I didn't like him at the beginning of Goodbye My Princess. At the end of the drama, I was so in love with this actor :D
Strictly speaking, there's no BL, perhaps just a little bromance with the men working together (3 guys), or sharing poems, views, wine (another pair) together.
Thanks for your review which does help me to decide. You've pointed out the few features that I dread a lot in a drama. Though with high ratings on many platforms, this is a skip for me :)
I have had two bad experiences with Liang Jie, please tell me she is not as annoying in this series? I really…
Liang Jie here is not as bad as she was in other dramas, and her character somewhat matches her (quite annoying at the beginning :)). For me, the most delightful thing is Zeng Shunxi and his character; it's wholesome :)
Great review! This is such a difficult review to write. I tried but couldn't figure out where to start. There are so many characters and so many things going on at the same time. Maybe re-watching can provide me some inspirations :D Anyway, have really enjoyed reading your review, helps me relive those nights binging through the episodes :D
