Even so, I get how things go most of the time especially for romantic dramas - boy meets girl, girl falls, boy catches, eyes meet, both fall in love, some antagonists come in between, they split, then come back together again. Wish they have something new or different.:/
I'm definitely not mocking you. There are so many dramas I want to watch, not only Chinese ones, but no time to watch everything. So many new dramas come out everyday, so we not only have to be selective, we have to learn how to watch efficiently, and I'm learning.
Woke up this morning and have an epiphany - Wu You and Man Yau (Rong Le) don't seem to have chemistry because Man Yau's true love is not Wu You, but Rong Qi. So, maybe the story would end like this: Wu You gets their son, Fu Chou gets his daughter and Rong Qi gets Qin Man (Rong Le). Win-win-win situation. Sigh! What chaos!

There's no hard core romance if that's what you're looking for. It's more like best friends kind of stuff (PG rated). Even though Zhen Zhen eventually falls in love with Shao Peng Chen, apart from a few pecks here and there, there are no bedroom stuff, nor French kisses. The relationship is cordial, but the process from the beginning is worth watching just for the sake of Deng Lun's performance.

Hahaha! But then, as it is, Qin Man (Rong Le) loves Wu You the most. She only thinks of him. She has forgotten Rong Qi, but her memories start coming back. She hates Fu Chou and wants to stay away from him.
If you skip all Wu You's scenes, then there's nothing much left to watch. I do enjoy watching Fu Chou's scenes though, there's more excitement - a lot of evil but he manages to stay out of it, apart from the silly mistakes like sleeping with the wrong woman, and then poisoning the wrong one later.
