Just finished the drama, and first off...wow!!! What a tragedy!!! The actor and actress did such a wonderful job!…
I can empathize with you. This is a wonderful drama that no other drama can beat so far in trapping our emotions.

It's tagged "tragedy". Yes, it's really very sad. There are people who hate it and people who love it. I fall…
Yes, boxes of it (tissues), plus chocolate, plus pillows and comfort blanky.

Really has this been confirmed? I would love to know how they went from the biggest names in China to xing xu…
According to some news, the big names' schedule could not meet the schedule for this drama. So the production had to switch actors. What a wonderful choice. Can't imagine Chen Kun, a 41 years old, playing the 5th Prince who was probably 16 or so, and Fan Bin Bin playing a 16 year old as Xiao Feng. It would have been a disaster. Chen Kun doesn't have that boyish look, and Fan Bin Bin doesn't have that naive and cute look (she's is beautiful).

Talking about this drama giving one depression, it even gave the actor, Chen Xing Xu, himself a lot of emotional turmoil while acting some episodes. There are a few behind-the-scenes of him crying uncontrollably after the shooting.

A drama should not be judged by its happy or sad ending; it should be judged by the acting, cinematography, story telling, music, among others. With these criteria in mind, this is a very well done, high quality drama.

Is this one like.. REALLY sad and tragic?
It's tagged "tragedy". Yes, it's really very sad. There are people who hate it and people who love it. I fall in the latter camp. Watch it and see which camp you fall under.

Title Good Bye, My Princess Spoiler
Question, did LCY and XF slept together? There's like a part where XF was on the swing and LCY got mad and threw…
That's the question I've been asking too, did LCY violate XF? No idea. Didn't show in the episode despite alluding to it. Thought I missed something, but still haven't found out. There's also one scene that LCY slept with SeSe. I'm also not sure if they had s**, but SeSe touched her tummy the second day alluding perhaps that she was expecting (I'm pretty confused!)

Pei liked XF as a friend. He felt very guilty because he was also involved in slaughtering the Danchi. So he had wanted to make it up to her by protecting her whenever he could.

Just started this drama. Only at episode 2. Trying to press myself to continue watching. Bad dubbing, mouth movement way off. Still can't connect with the leads yet.

The only thing I noticed cheesy, in this one, is the sick makeup...and even that didn't even make me cringe because…
Good points. Love your lists. Now I know where to look for dramas I want to watch next. From your lists, I know you're a happy person. Stay that way. I actually stumbled across GMP without checking the tag. It just drew me in and couldn't withdraw myself until it's too late. Now I'm all broken. I need to find a good happy romantic drama to watch now to mend my heart. Any recommendations?

Yes, beautiful song, giving me a nostalgic feeling, especially the part that was sung in ethnic language (what…
I think the ethnic language is Yi, a minority race in China living in the western part of China - just as where Xiao Feng came from - the Xi (western) State. This is the Yi version:

So looks like a movie is coming out based on this drama/novel: https://kisskh.at/33811-eastern-palace
Hope they don't mess it up as in "Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms".

The only thing I noticed cheesy, in this one, is the sick makeup...and even that didn't even make me cringe because…
I just finished "Goodbye My Princess" a couple of weeks ago, desperate to find an appealing new drama to take my mind off the last one and heal my very much broken heart. I have absolutely no idea what is good or bad before I dive into watching it. I depend a lot on recommendations from my good old friends on kisskh. Having said that, if you haven't watched, you should have a go at "Goodbye My Princess". Everything in this drama (Goodbye My Princess) was very good. I've also recently completed "The Legends". The story, acting, CGI, makeup were quite good, but the editing was super bad. I've also watched "The Legend of Hao Lan" awhile back. Everything was pretty good for that drama. The rating is not as high as it deserves because it involves a controversial figure. Love to hear what you think.

Person Chen Xing Xu
Chen Xing Xu is such an excellent actor, despite his age. His acting is so matured. He's going to do well. Simply love him in "Goodbye My Princess" despite his very controversial role.

Title The Legends Spoiler
Well she didn't exactly "possess" Qin Zhi Yan's body... they just looked exactly alike, and Lu Zhao Yao was invisible…
They're kind of switching in and out. When Zhao Yao was talking to Zhi Yan, they used Bai Lu as Zhao Yao. When Zhao Yao was talking to others, say, Li Chen Lan, in the evening, they use Xiao Yan as Zhao Yao. This is because to Zhi Yan, Zhao Yao was Zhao Yao at all time. She could even see her when Zhao Yao was invisible. But to others, Zhao Yao was Zhi Yan in the evening; she was invisible in day light. However, in some episodes, people seemed to be able to see her even it was supposed to be in day light. This can get pretty confusing. I think this is some of the details the production team didn't take care of. There are many holes and inconsistencies like this throughout the drama.
