I guess the Chinese xian xia gives us everything we want in the mortal world (like love, wealth, power), but with immortal bodies (youth, longevity). Just like the mortal world, when we crave for power, we have wars, even as immortals. It is totally different from the Greek mythology where the emphasis is more on, ahem, sex (?) XD.

Buyi was supposed to be his name, but because the other kid was sickly, so their parents switched the kids' names at birth. Now, he takes his name back. That's why after he changes his surname back to Huo, he still retains his name Buyi.

We're already on episode 30, not that many more episodes to go, but still so many mysteries to resolve. I hope they don't chop off everything towards the end.

To fight the "xian" clan, DFQC must have his power back which was gone when he started to have feelings. So I believe now he needs to withdraw his emotions again so that he can get it back, and he needs to be cruel to her. He cannot have and feel love now.
