I love this series. It's so hilarious and yet it can also draw tears, the father part.

Despite being the Devil Lord, he's the funniest character in this drama. Love him!

Yuan Shen is scholastic but like many men, doesn't know how to express himself to a girl he likes. The other girls just swarm all over him, and he is always polite to them, except with CSS as she doesn't salivate over him. Therefore in his tone, he sounds bitter, and what he says is not what he thinks. At first, I found him rather like a pesky fly, now I find him important because he's the one who helps CSS when LBY is not around; he's like LBY's extra hand :D

She asks someone to many her? What the hell for? It's so out of character for the Niao Niao we know in the drama.

Does Niao Niao's engagement to Yuan Shanjian have anything to do with LBY's trying to safeguard Niao Niao under Yuan Shanjian's protection? In other words, LBY knows Yuan Shanjian is the only one who would protect Niao Niao with everything while he (LBY) himself is in trouble, so he entrusts Niao Niao to him. Is this the scenario?

About Niao Niao and Yuan Shanjian:

She marries the oldest brother-in-law who is also the adopted son. He's said to have protected her during the ordeal and to be just and fair. Even LBY and Niao Niao are approved of him.

In the novel she's only 13 as CSS but the girl who time-travels to CSS's body is already in college. In the novel, the original CSS is really bad and unlikable until the other girl gets into her body.

Hmmm... the typical falling-off-cliff-but-not-dead scene again? I hope he doesn't come back only in the last episode.

Yes, absolutely that LBY would have gone bonkers if he knows someone is also messing with his future family. I think he already has a hunch who the enemy is but he has no evidence. Otherwise, why does he disguise as LBY?

That's the only consolation I have: if Zisheng finds out what his Niaoniao has gone through, he'd blow holes on everyone that is involved.

He was about 6 years old when the massacre happened, so he should know that his mom is actually his aunt, and he is not the real LBY. Every time when he commemorates his "uncle", he cries quietly.

The only way CSS can save the family is to stay outside of jail, that's what her mom wants her to do, instead of to die with them.
