This was such a feel-good series. I thought I would end up dropping it after the first episode, but it had this…
Same here, thinking of dropping in episode 1 but couldn't because it's so cute and fluffy, like you can't throw away your giant cotton candy you've just bought from the fair. Yes, Hou Chi is the star and the actor is amazing with his most pure and innocent face like a baby's. Great watch for me too!
It is quite cute I watched a few but abandoned it bc I am very busy this year. :(
Same here (being very busy). In fact, I've been rather good for the last couple of weeks, watching fewer episodes. I'm behind with all my on-going dramas now which is fine because none very captivating anyway :)
Great review! You have persuaded me. I skipped this drama precisely because of Sally Jing; she doesn't seem to click with me. But after your wonderful review here, I'm going to give this production a shot.
Amazing review! I normally watch only Chinese dramas and I don't watch dramas from the 30s era during the Japanese occupation, with wars, espionage and guns. I find those stories very painful. But your review is compelling and I feel I have already watched this drama by just reading your review. Thank you!
She looks like she could be in Princess of Persia.
LOL! I was wondering about that (the costume) too. It's so awkward when she was fiddling with the gadgets and her head ornaments dangling all over the place.
I've watched the first two episodes only, but based on that I'm definitely getting romantic vibes from the leads'…
Romance? I hope not. Quite sick of romance dramas these days; they're all the same - airheaded FL falls into the arms of the hero and bingo. I hope their relationship is platonic, simply professional, for once. I like both the FL and the ML, strong, objective, intelligent :)
When it's the FL who doesn't feel anything anymore, why does she still feel emotions and cry? Is this a plot hole…
She and ML can switch to and fro their taste buds and feelings by dripping their tears into each other's eyes. It's really funny when they find out the trick :)
Normally when a couple gets married, that's the end of the story. But for this drama, it goes all the way to after marriage life, etc. Still want more? 4 babies? XD

Wow! Seeing the compilation, I realize Lu Shiyi is really too much XD (in turning and twisting Xiaoju's head, and pulling her ponytail). But the couple is simply so cute!
Just something unrelated - the ML from Bloody Romance didn't die. Read the final writing carefully, the clue is there.
