GU CHANG AN IS MISSING FROM SPOTIFY. I CAN'T LISTEN TO MY FAVORITE SONG NOW, SEND HELP.
Is it the one which comes in both male version and female version? It's my fave one too (after the Killing Song LOL). I thought it has never been on Spotify? I remember failing to find it in Spotify.
Fave characters, so far:Hu Jun as the "Black Knight" General Xia Hou and Lu Xin as his loyal comrade General Lin…
Seconding you about Chao Xiaoshu -- favorite character, and yeah, Andy On is totally hot + a great actor.
My other picks for fave character: - General Ma: a great father figure for both Ning Que and Sang Sang - Queen Xia Tian: she shows great restraint despite possessing immense power, and one of the least selfish people in the story (so far) - Chen Pipi: simply adorable, though a bit naive - 2nd brother Jun Mo: a bit strict, but open minded and genuine
Dramas often change parts of novel (or 80% of the novel such as the case of Bloody Romance LOL), and sometimes for the worse. I've read complaints that the drama weakens Sang Sang's character. I watched the preview of the forthcoming episode where she is arguing w/ NQ in front of her parents. That particular part seems to be played differently from the novel. Judging from that short clip alone, those who haven't read the novel (me included, just excerpts) may be dismayed by Sang Sang's emotional outburst --and TBH I'm not too keen on the high pitched scream. I really wish to know the decision to change it other than to make the scene more dramatic.
People keep referencing NiF as their fav. I know it has more than one season, does the original have a true ending…
NIF 1 & 2 are separate dramas actually. The story in NIF 2 happens a long time after NIF 1, with characters being the descendant of NIF1's characters. So NIF 2 is a sequel of NIF 1. Both are equally well done, but NIF 1 has left a deep mark to viewers so people will always compare them.
Lol that's hilarious. I think the foreshadowing is done really well and sometimes pretty blatantly by the author.…
The arguments of Team MSS: - Ning Que and Sang Sang are family. Ning Que practically raised Sang Sang since baby. Their love isn't necessarily a romantic love, but siblings love. - Mo Shan Shan is a lovely, nice girl with skills. Some praise Yuan Bingyan's improved acting since Mystic 9 & many comment on the physical compatibility of NQ and MSS.
TBH, in real life I'd probably freak out if two people who have lived together since childhood like NQ & SS are romantically involved, because I'll also see them as siblings. But in that period of time, it's actually the most logical thing. They are both orphans, they are not blood related, and I think most people will support, or even encourage them to just marry one another out of practicality, you know?
it was all casts that were dubbed except for MuLe/Prince AYing that uses his own voice. You may refer to the Chinese…
IMO Janice's voice is squeaky, so her dub is a little better. I thought Zhang Yujian's real voice is deep and pleasant (based on the BTS), but perhaps his line delivery is not the best or heavily accented, so they dubbed him.
LOL, apparently there are two camps among C-netizens: Team Sang Sang and Team Mo Shan Shan. I read on Douban, the author deliberately created Mo Shan Shan as a complete opposite of Sang Sang, so Ning Que (and readers) is "forced" to choose. Bear in mind this is what one poster wrote, so I don't know if it's true. But it's quite amusing :)))
Can someone elaborate about the three "Maniacs"? (I wish they had better translation for this). Why are they well known among the cultivators? Is each of their obsession related/contribute to their power?
And from which sect is Mo Shan Shan? Why is her sect invited in that "townhall meeting" in ep 32? (You can answer in spoiler tag)
Do you all think that Wan Mei should have chosen Chang An or Gong Zi? I think that the actress who played Wan…
Bloody Romance is one of those rare dramas which I root for the canon pairing. Most often than not, I get second lead syndromme when watching Mainland dramas. I think it's because in many Mainland dramas the male second leads, or other male supporting characters, are much nicer, and treat the female lead with respect. But in here, Chang An from the start has been Wan Mei's friend, always looks out for her (even if he has a sharp tongue in the beginning, LOL), always has her back and treats her as his equal. Gong Zi, while an awesome character himself, rubs me the wrong way in how he acts around and towards Wan Mei. He might love her, but he won't hesitate using her to advance his cause and is often patronizing.
Chen Feiyu can do whatever he wants. Acting or not. And I'd still watch Ever Night S1 and S2 and any drama I'm…
I can't speak for others, so this is my personal opinion. Let me say in the beginning that I'd also still watch this season of Ever Night. The production value is fantastic and I love the plot.
I wholeheartedly agree that the whole cast AND the whole team, ESPECIALLY director Yang Yang, make the drama as epic and awesome as it is now. In my other social media account, I often post the BTS of the fighting scenes to show my admiration of PD Yang Yang. She definitely has set the bar high for future wuxia drama productions.
And I won't call myself a fan of Chen Feiyu. He's still got a long way to prove himself as an actor. But he is an integral part of the show. I associate him, his appearance, his mannerism in the drama, with Ning Que the character. What I'm not happy about is he's probably the only main actor being replaced. Season 2 is not a separate drama, it's the continuation of Season 1. Of course I can't have a prejudgment on how the new lead actor will perform, or his chemistry with the rest of the cast, particularly Song Yiren. But for me, it won't feel the same seeing another face as Ning Que, and it may or may not affect my feeling about the drama. After all, one needs to feel emotional connection with the characters to fully enjoy a drama.
The princess' dying mother made her promise to help her brother to the throne , so as to thwart the "demoness"…
I must have missed this part early on (really, this show requires you to pay attention to even the smallest details). So when her mother was dying, the current queen was already in the picture -- as a concubine? A queen?
I’m on Epi 10..... does this drama get better?? I find myself annoyed with the female lead, annoyed with the…
Yes. Actually at 36 episodes, this drama barely drags (it seems to be the curse of most C-dramas). No unnecessary fillers, great soundtrack -- I'm rating the opening song the best this year. Great acting from the 3 leads!
