omg...does someone feel like me? joseph zheng and yukee chen hava a great chemistry on this drama... especially…
I think Joseph has chemistry with practically ALL the girls haha! :)))
Earlier I DM-ed the link to subbed videos to those who asked just to prevent the videos get taken down. However, the subber just gave his/her consent to share the link of the subbed videos, so here it is: https://pastebin.com/SEZG0p6T

Please be aware that this is a one person voluntary work, so it's going very slow and it's not perfect because Mandarin isn't the person's mother language. I'm still grateful that someone is doing that. Meanwhile I'm enjoying the raw episodes, and rewatch the subbed ones.

May I know where you found it with 1080p?
Thanks, Erudite! I have low techie standard & can't tell whether some videos are really 1080p or not LOL. This looks good & sharp enough for me, but yeah, I haven't tried it on large screen. (Have only watched them on my 13 inch Macbook).
I just rewatched them in 1080p (up until only ep 4 now) and it gave me new appreciation to the production. The slow-mo sucks, but everything else is beautifully filmed. I understand now why PD Chiang said they used the high-res camera when filming it, and (my interpretation) they decided to do the slow motion to show the audience the details. I agree, they should've limited the use of slow-mo for select fighting scenes that they wanted to highlight. But the director just recently said in weibo they're aware of people's complaints regarding the slow-mo and he promises to do something about it. So let's just cross our fingers!

I thought this drama will be subbed fast since this is based on famous novel. Now I am disappointed lol
Someone has started to sub the drama. It's not perfect and at a snail pace because it's a one-person voluntary work. I'll DM you the link.

People i really don't understand you!! ARE YOU REALLY SUPPORTING HIM (DYLAN WANG) OR ATE YOU JUST COMPARING HIM…
Don't overestimate Dylan Wang, nobody here is hating him. People aren't disappointed because it's Dylan, but because Chen Feiyu isn't coming back. Whoever takes over Ning Que role will face the same complaints.

Title Ever Night Spoiler
How could ning que trust royalty? in the drama he even never trust princess li yu. For him the people lives in…
Well, he may not like Princess Liyu and her brother, but I think he knows the king is fond of him. I agree, he may not be too sure about the queen. He can trust Fu Zi, though.

Thanks for the insight, Erudite. I agree with another comment in that it's surprising that Arthur Chen was replaced…
Yeap, as influential Chen Kaige is in China's movie industry, it's nothing when faced with Tencent, one of the largest corporations in the world. There's also been rumors about power plays within the production company which may have had something to do with the replacement. Oh well *sigh
On Qu Chu Xiao Jan 13, 2019
Person Qu Chu Xiao
I'm quite happy watching his career flourishing after Bloody Romance. He's going to star in two significant movies, the blockbuster Wandering Earth (perhaps China's first attempt in sci-fi movie) and the Onmyoji movie with Chen Kun and Zhou Xun! All the best to this talented young actor!

Actually I'm pretty sure Dylan Wang's company, Tencent Pictures is responsible for pushing Arthur off Season 2…
Yeah, read about it elsewhere. I think it's been heard through the grapevine for a while. The promotion is also quite early for the 2nd season compared to S1, with BTS and production crew post praising weibos in unison about Season 2 being worth to wait etc. CMIIW, but I can't recall similar thing back for S1. I remember being very surprised when they announced the broadcast date because there had been barely any promotion for it.
