I'm following the regular schedule so I just finished ep 22. So this whole Guan revenge was because she sent LXX…
That hateful woman had a wrongful vendetta against FL because she she was humiliated by her friends witnessing that scene . She also couldn’t accept the fact that her husband was fed up with her newfound arrogance and needed someone else to blame. Unfortunately, FL had to taste her own medicine to fully understand the depth of pain that can be caused by the emotional testing that she dished to others. Hopefully FL has a chance to redeem herself with her first true love
This kdrama had a promising start as an unexpected family with an adorable orphaned baby storyline but fell flat towards the end — especially the “romance” part, which left a lot to be desired when MLs got together.
The majority of the show dedicated a lot of screen time to 2ML, which I found quite annoying. My favorite character was portrayed by the ML — his scenes being regretful after newfound understanding of his older brother’s love and protection was heart wrenching . The FL fit her role at first but sadly, the character was written so pitifully that I lost compassion for her and whatever she attempted at trying to portray. Slightly recommended if you love the cute baby and the loving neighbors. 7.0 rating

I didn’t click on the link, hoping not to get spoiled but now returning to your comment because I think I missed the cp’s intimate scene? I’m now on epi12 and probably slept through it due to watching it at 5am in the morning? 😂🤓
I had been waiting for another of LYN’s projects and was originally on the fence when I read the synopsis of this cdrama. Now after 12 episodes of sitting on the edge and loudly guffawing at LG’s antics, I seriously love this cdrama so much! The depth of the storyline with immensely flawed characters and their relationships filled with friendship loyalties, marriage infidelity trials, unrequited love and budding romances has me hooked. Not to mention the director’s shots, the theatre and thought-provoking dialogue. Totally recommended!
Title: 玫瑰与青松 / Méi Guī Yǔ Qīng Sōng / Rose and Pine TreeAlt. Title: Await The FlowersML: Wang Chen…
I liked that this vertical cdrama’s romance was portrayed maturely but now that I’m reading through the comments, I can’t help but be weirded out with ML pining of the teenaged FL 😬
So glad this cute baby came up on my YT scroll because I had to see more of his adorable face. Now I’m hooked on this new family dynamic of adopted baby nephew and a budding romance between his parents’ siblings. Only 4 episodes and I’m crying and laughing non-stop!
BIH has always looked handsome, but so much more mature looking now as ML in this show. Can’t get over his expressive monolid eyes and those dual dimples! As for FL, this is the 1st time I’ve properly watched her acting and she’s really doing well with this type of role that doesn’t require for her to be stoic. Highly recommend this collab and anxiously waiting for more episodes
This was a cute and light romance comedy watch with a retro flair of the 90s, my favorite decade! These back-to-the-past plot lines are expected to fall flat but I powered through this cdrama and dodged all the cringe scenes of CXX and WYW kissing (they’ve always given off childhood friends vibes). They’re such good actors on their own but I couldn’t help feeling like they were siblings when together.
I enjoyed watching the storyline run its course in the beginning — it was quirky cute at first, but became more heavy towards the end, which would’ve been fine if this part wasn’t so repetitive. I would’ve given this cdrama a better rating if there weren’t so many memory flashbacks, some even happened less than a minute after the scene played out. The 2nd MLs were annoying by beating around the bush with their feelings for the majority of the time. Then ending was open to interpretation. 7.0 rating
This guy’s acting was so hilarious in TDoBY that I had to look into his past works, discovering that he acted with WYW too! I’ve been seeking more of her projects recently and now looking forward to binging their friends-to-lovers drama 😉
This was such a funny cdrama, most especially when ML took on the switch role and the funny sound effects added to the humor! Ugh, the kiss scenes between these two were riveting. Ugh, ML’s eyes when he’s staring at FL intensely. My knees get weak every time! I haven’t seen him before so I’m looking forward to watching more of his works. It appears he has a decent amount of projects to keep my interested. Any reccs please?
FL also did well with the switch role but those moments were more on the melancholic side. I remember that I’ve watched her in YAMD before and enjoyed her there too.
There were some boring moments in this fantasy cdrama and I didn’t care much for the supporting casts but the FF button is your best friend when you’re binge-watching. Give it a try
Is this his only project in sight? ‘About Love’ — doesn’t he have any upcoming others ?
So far no other acting projects, but he’s been looking at scripts. I’m hoping he’ll pick up movie scripts, for either his acting skills or also directing skills. He’s been focused on his concerts (that I’ll never be able to grab tickets for), recently finished up a great 2nd season Crush of Music, singing beautiful new songs and soon he’ll be traveling to New Zealand to film 2nd season WtW cvariety show. This boy keeps himself busy!
Agreed, my first time watching her work and looking forward to watching her past projects. Any reccs?
HE? I have a soft spot for enemies to lovers but ML is too pretty for me to take seriously. I left kdrama for more masculine looking ML. No offense, I have weird preferences lol
Gaming dramas have never been my cup of tea but I loved watching this cdrama for the uber cute cp when they finally…
Sometimes the FL didn’t seem to fit her character as an aspiring architect but she made up for it the majority of the drama as a smart and resourceful professional woman. So happy that ML solved the mystery and found closure. I’m sorta irked that we didn’t get to see “more” of the main antagonist’s ending because he was so nasty for justifying his actions. Good thing my 2nd ML syndrome redeemed himself and accepted his unrequited love. As for the best friends, I couldn’t help but be bored with their scenes and found myself FF them a lot 🤭

Revenge story and cRepub era virtual reality were congruently paced well, keeping me intrigued with the fantasy world and modern reality. My favorite character was Mr. Pei, epically flawed due to his upbringing and wonderfully redeemable. Highly recommend! Rated 9 out of 10!
